I certainly remember the "have you driven a Ford lately" ads. One that sticks in my mind was for either the EA or EB when the "ZOMFG NEW 4SPD AUTO" came out, there was a girl sitting in the passenger seat with a goldfish bowl in her lap to demonstrate how smooth the shifts were :

I really liked that old jingle 'Have you driven a Ford.... Lately!' I was always looking around for the new 'Ford Lately' that they kept going on about. Must have been a special 'invisible' model.
Sorry. I couldn't resist. I love pulling the English language apart. :P There have been some great Ford ads over the years. Much better than the current crap they've been throwing at us. Oh yeah, to the OP/Kariharnett. If you can't find an audio version of the jingle, let me know as I might be able help you.
