Make sure you all have a good time and think of us poor South Aussies who dont get a Concert, Its not Possible for me to get across for any of the Concerts otherwise i would be there for sure, I heard Ozzy Osbourne is coming out on tour aswell and there is not going to be a concert in SA either, I have followed Geelong in the VFL/AFL for 30years and we dont have a drag strip apart from a couple of country 1/8 miles so maybe its time to move interstate!!!

First album I ever bought was number of the beast . The first band I ever saw live was Maiden on their world slavery tour in 1984. I am also a musician and have had a lot to do with Australian metal bands over the years. There are many Australian metal bands that deserve to be supporting Maiden and this band is not one of them. Hell their not even a metal band.
The band who supported Supernova last year wasn't bad, can't recall their name , Jake Cartel or something (got their promo CD laying around somewhere) damn good

it was the wrong croud for behind crimson eyes. pretty easy to see why they got such a poor reception.

blame the promoters for putting them on the bill, fools lol

that being said, Lauren Harris was a bit of a looker :

He said they are hoping to be back early next year. So another Feb concert could be on the cards.

Went to the Melbourne show.

Was pretty good. I was never really into them but can acknowledge what they've achieved etc, so i wasn't going to pass up the opportunity.

Did think much of the sound in Rod Laver Arena. Too much steel and concrete.

Great to see the old buggers still rocking on like that though, and i did enjoy the quality of Bruce' vocals.

Of course i thought DreamTheater was a much more enjoyable concert! ;)

best concert i've seen yet in brissy. blew me away. cofnrimed for me i made the right choice in learning bass, steve harris is brilliant! didn't everyone blow up when "run to the hills" started and fear of the dark. definitely going for the next one when they bring the show around again

When I saw them on the World Slavery tour at Festival hall I was right at the front barrier . That was awesome. But I have to admit that I'll leave the front to the youngsters these days..hahaha....besides I had an excellent view of the stage floor this time, and that was awesome in itself!

What tops off an excellent concert for me is that when I met Bruce, Steve and Dave, they were all real nice blokes. Steve and Dave were the quiet type though and Bruce, being the showman that he is, was a lively bloke...he was quite funny actually.
