Too bad most people who buy the black hummers/300c with "MAFIA" number plates are pretenders... o well...

This will probably give away my age, but I can remember when a handfull of 20c coins in a coin operated bowser (because the servos were closed at night) would get you comfortably through a weekend of cruising (in a slant six Valiant hardtop...ohhh I wish I still had that car) :

I have 22'' on my Territory, and have had nothing but good responses.
Although the black does make them look a little smaller than 22'' compared to
a set of chrome 22''

I think you made the right choice there, looks the goods. Would have looked awful if they were chrome.

^ The 22's actually look good on the terri , It is a fairly large vehicle.
But imagine putting those on a bl00dy EL, Lancer etc.

Ive seen ED/EL, lancer's, rexi's etc. with 20 + inch trust me makes you want to cringe : & feel a little nauseous :

Looks like BIG foot :
"No officer it's not lowered at all infact I have 300mm clearance

My opinion anyway.

It is almost as if we are going back to the 1920's where cars had 30 inch "rims".

Bigger SUV's and 4WD's can get away with bigger rims because the wheels can be more in proportion, but massive rims on smaller sedans just don't provide the right proportions when you start moving past 20's. I reckon the 300C in the first pic looks stupid, the wheel design looks crap too.

I've never understood the desire to put wheels with massive moments of inertia on cars. It just puts that much more strain on the axles, CVs, wheel studs, brakes, etc. Plus you lose your first point of suspension, the tyre.

They are the first 20"+ wheels I have seen and liked.

I think you are on to something with the black bit.

Also helps that the Terry is taller than a sedan - it keeps it all in proportion.

When everyone has >20"s all the cool people will be downsizing till they have <10". then eventually everyone will have 10" :P

300Cs look good with big rims, but not overdone like that. I saw one with spinners the other day, now that certainly impresses the kiddies.

Ugly as hell in my opinion but here's some 30's for you guys.
AG Excaliber full story

have to agree with a lot, 19s and 20s on most cars look big enough and like T-BOOST's territory and other SUV's the can tend to pull of nice big rims easily.
