Find them and linch them after a public stoning and been drag behind a coupe for a few hundred Kays. Then after all that sit them on an ants nest so they can be stripped to bones and left to rot. :togo: :

I am sorry to hear about your car. I know how I felt when someone broke into my car and stole my stereo and tacho and other stuff. You feel so violated. I hope they are found, and dealt with.

It is always a shame when an classic is lost like this. That's one more than will never touch the road again, or be driven and enjoyed. That alone is criminal.

So sorry to hear. Just terrible. R'soles like that simply dont appreciate cars, the time and love spent on them and must just hate cars generally.

Unbelievable, definitely doesn't sound good for the other two missing cars. I was telling my mrs about it, her brother in law has his coupe stolen years ago and it turned up cut in two and burnt out as well.

Rob, I've just heard about your car. Mate, what a low act. I know the police and courts will deal with this if the culprits are found; but it doesnt make it any easier - another classic gone and all that love and care gone too. Thinking about the culprits having a need for artificial knees might help a bit.... hope they are found and dealt with....

I lost an XB GT 12 years ago and still miss the thing. I feel your pain.

They torch them not just for prints but also DNA which is pretty common at vehicle recoveries.

Watch ebay and the like as there is a massive market on there for HiPo parts on modern and classic vehicles. Hopefully you'll see something that is unique to your gear, organise a cash purchase and some bargaining, before calling the cops of course;)

You will need to have receipts and photos to prove ownership of any items.

A girl on the Skyline forums had her car stripped, and found parts being sold off on ebay, yet when she notified the cops they told her unless she had receipts and photos, she couldn't prove the parts were stolen from her, and they couldn't do anything about it.

An add popped up in nearby suburb in Trading Post, same tyres and mag style..
Had reciepts etc.. Police SAID they couldn't do anything!!
3 months latter there was a big bust, with stolen stuff every where..

I'm disgusted, and I hope the thieves are found and made to pay for their actions.

Nothing more to say other than to offer my condolences, Rob.

Just looking at that picture is very depressing. The coupes are just such tough looking cars, and that was a very good example of one. To see that picture of it is dreadful. I can't begin to imagine how sad you'd feel.
