ffs, it is worth paying to see, and we want people to make similar high quality flicks for car dudes. That won't happen if people download them.

In reality I have a missus who wants to see it too, 6 week old baby, a 2 1/2 year old, I work till 6pm, am up at 5am if not before every morning, so I cant exactly pop out to the movies with 2 kids and check it out, while fitting in with their screening times, reality is a female dog some days... But yes, I cant wait to see it, I am sure I will watch this movie over and over, as I have the trailers...

I just went and saw the movie.
Have never been so excited about a movie couldn't stop grinning and turned up to the movie 40 mins early which made the antispation so much worse . I really enjoyed the movie . Was really good one thing i would i liked is a bit more info on the xb as in some of the stuff he had done . But i do realise he tried to make it sutible for all not just petrol heads. Also i think bana and his beast needs to be on here in the build section. |

just saw it tonight. By far the best real car movie i've ever seen. thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!!!!!! at times i couldn't help but let my jaw fall open!!!! going to see it when it comes to the drive in up here and then buy it on DVD. i agree with snappy84 that it should be on the build section on FF.
it's well worth $12 to go see it at the movies |

Thats the way I recon, I saw it in this, no radio just the drive in speaker on the window and the sunvisor was a pain in the neck. That said theres nothing better than seeing a car movie at the drive in and if its in an old car all the better

I saw it today. Only four other people in the cinema
There was even two points I'd almost classify as tear-jerking moments. It was engaging for the most part, however the filler kinda killed the doco a tad, as someone else suggested. Definitely going to buy this when it comes out on DVD. To everyone who hasn't seen it, go and see it, it's worth the money. |

Saw the movie on Sat (last minute thing) and it was worth the money.
Bloody funny movie. Really would motivate someone to start a classic project.

Finally got to see this movie last night, won a double pass to go and would have paid twice the admission price anyway!! What a brillant aussie doco, the cinema was 95% full and the "ooohs and ahhhs" from everyone was brillant too. Even though you new the crunch was coming you were still on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. Lots of great one liners and thoughtful insight to bloke whose just living life, the look on his old mans face as his mum is talking about making space in the garage is pricess, the smile, the pain, the eyes say it all. Eric the actor makes a great Doco, can't help but think, waiting 25yrs for the next one "the beast reborn" might be a bit of a stretch though
5 out of 5 rubber chickens from me!

I haven't seen it yet. Who is the old guy with white hair in the movie trailer and what is his car? Cougar, Thunderbird? Reason I ask is that Bana is sitting in this for the movie poster shots and not his own car!
