Default Re: whos problem?? Wheel falling off.

Good luck…

I had a wheel nearly falling off issue with Ford Service a while ago…

Didn’t tighten the wheel nuts on rear passenger wheel…Nearly came off on the highway doing 100kph. Rang up ford and explained the situation and said I would like my hub replaced (studs were half cactus) and a new rim (inside was chewed up a bit)….

What did ford do? Stripped my studs putting the nuts on with the air tool….told me the wheel was fine and offered a free detail next time I came in. No thanks, won’t be going to you guys ever again. Too bad if it came off doing 100kph and someone got hurt…Would they still offer a free detail?

If you can pin it on the repairer, go for it!
