I loved the G6E turbo in the FG... but i really dislike the G6E front bar in the MkII... very Taurus like.

I am fan of the front of the XR6 turbo MKII front which hides the intercooler.. which will help making a sleeper when its de-badged.

What DRL's the Falcon doesn't have DRL's those G6E LED's are parking lamps, just like the ones they fitted to BA Ghias and had to remove due to ADR laws... Just waiting for the recall to come again!!

Funny people dis DRL's.

I put some on the AU the other day, I think they look good and whats the point in driving with your lights on when on long trips etc when you can use LED's that use stuff all power and dont waste your driving globes? And its not like you are emitting any light during the day..so driving around with your lights on for the sake of extra visibility really doesnt make sense.

Telstra cars all are hard wired, I wonder if DRL's would save them in replacements etc..who knows.

It could be in my head, but nuffties in the right lane seem to be moving over quicker too.

DRL's, like most gimmicks help to sell cars; it might be a fad (well not really since it seems to be a requirement in the EU) but the little things help.

I like the projector headlights and new front treatment, a step in the right direction for the Falcon:

Went to a dealer in Perth to buy one of these...best price I received was $37000... (ie $490 off ....wtf) sales guy gave me the sob story that they were so heavily discounted they're not making money etc etc. I offered $35500 and they weren't interested.

Yes, $37,000 is a great deal on an already heavily discounted car. No wonder they were not interested in your counter offer.

Yes 37K is a great deal.. You are basically getting close to a G6E equiped car for 37K, it has just been released & you want it for discount XR6 prices??

If you really want that price you'll need to wait 6-7 months, when they are strangling to get ride of old stock, then you might be able to get this price, but not now..

how can you not like this?

Personally I like the look .. but the "One Ford" thing means its becoming harder to differenciate the family models especially from the front .. i.e. it looks too much like a Mondeo. Probably great for the brand, but not good for the model (Falcon).

Stick to your guns mate. They are struggling to sell cars. You WILL get it for less than $37000. They should have a slap on the head for passing on the sale. Big cars are struggling and the BUYER has the power.

They are going for well below 37K at the moment. Was offered one for $34000 but didn't like the colour (not white lol) but drove away with a new white XR6 for 31500 instead (tough choice though). Agree EB2MONTY on that they are struggling to sell so bargains are there to be had!

A shame it is not selling, but I would have thought they'd learnt a lesson from all the other G6 LE that did not sell at the 50th anniversary time.. Make a bloody XR6 LE & put the EB engine at the same time!!

an XR6 LE with ecoboost 4pot and 6spd manual would be quite a combo wouldnt it!

options available: LSD, 19x8s, factory delete spoiler, octane as a colour, the mind could go wild lol!
