Also noticed that some of the Terry Vs Kuga billboards have been replaced by Territory, Australia's best selling SUV posters. (or something like that)

Wouldnt it be good if Ford could just get the $2k LPG rebate back instead of the buyer, then just offer all falcons with the option.

There...pick you poison.

Yeah it would be great if they could do that but the G6 LE is a absolute bargain anyhow ... under $36k driveaway street price for a full sized RWD car is amazing value.

The EcoBoost is a turbo 4 cylinder engine right?

why is this not made clear on the Ford website?

I'm also fearful that the EB will cannibalize sales of the I6 instead of adding to them, as the EBs biggest competition isn't other 4 cyl Camrys/6s/Accords/Optimas or i45s but the six cylinder Falcon.

It is a good price, but $38K gets you a loaded 6 or Accord or a stunning looking Optima, all of which have more aspirational value to private buyers than the old taxi personified Falcon nameplate - yes, unfair I know but that's how buyers, especially younger ones, see it. Hopefully private sales prove this wrong - but if Ford could drop another $4-5K from the price then it would be extremely competitive...

They should ship quite a number of these over to New Zealand. You think Kiwi motorists wouldn't want to save money with 98 Octane for instance at around $2.30 a litre ?

Is the car not selling at all so they keep dropping the RRP?

It’s a real shame the EcoBoost is only available in grandpa spec … seriously Ford what were you thinking?? every company these days mostly concentrating on the Gen Y buyers as they are by far the largest money spenders and you are still trying flog grandpa spec cars without even offering a sportier XR variant (in EcoBoost) …

I'm really, really getting tempted by these things...our G6E is 15 months old now with 44,000km on the clock...maybe I should ask at Ford next week when Itake it in for the 45,000 service what sort of trade in we'd get on an ecoboost G6 or G6E...

The EcoBoost Falcon is such a good car, but the sound of 4 pot thrashing away under the bonnet is such a strange thing to hear form a Falcon. Not dissing it, but such a different sound to the throaty six's and eights......

G6 LE is available in ecoboost and I6 petrol (no cost option for ecoboost) also available in LPI at a cost. Do you mean are they struggling with ecoboost or Falcon in general?

The only real world test I've seen is in the lastest wheels or motor, can't remember which one. Other then that I haven't seen any other tests or owners telling us what they have been getting.

Unless youre really strapped for time/convenience trade-ins are for mugs. Sell privately first, then buy.
