the EB GT's for some time now have not been selling even for mid teens. there has been a few listed on ebay over the last 6 months that haven't sold for under 20k. for some reason they are ignored & have stagnated at prices similar to 10 years ago.

interesting, proliferation of nasty cheap crappy 'replicas' hurting value maybe?

i reckon maybe 1 out of 20 'replica's actually look good, and much less than that look authentic.

I think the fact you can get XR8 Sprints for simmiler prices might hurt, same basic thing, less bling.

That, and i think the EB GT is ignored over the EL GT.

lol,is similar specs to yours isnt it.

if anything the 351 would add even more to the 'modern HO' tag

I think Svetta summed it up when she repeatedly told Victor (Fast Forward) "Victor ... you are most unattractive man".

I don't know what drugs the designer was on but I certainly don't want any of the same. The front looks like Godzilla meets creature from the black lagoon.

With the EB If you take off the bonnet stuff, and flares, the kit is similer to a V8 supercar...

In my eyes EBGT is one of the toughest looking muscle cars ever, and to think Ford was out of the performance game for so long and to come back first with the xr8 then the GT i couldn't be happier, great job FORD.

Because they wanted to? And they didn't care if they were cool to others. Having said that, I would buy manual. Fact is, most people out there that aren't on forums want automatics.

I'd agree with you if they were 250kw from the factory, instead the same 200kw five years after the EB GT, that was a joke!

200kw is darn good for back then...considering that they only thing with more was the GTS-R (painted in taxi yellow with a t wing...poeple laugh at that stuff these days)...GTS-R needed a stroker kit to do it...

Actually you will find the GTSR came out over a year b4 EL GT. And its running gear was carry over from the 1994 VR GTS (which also had the blueprint option). Power output for GTS was set at 215kw because HSV used the 1990 VN Group A as the benchmark. VN Group A is also a 5 litre

EL GT IMO is still one of the best interiors Ford has ever done. All that leather, woodgrain and alcantara was superb.

meh to the plastic GT's I say! Riding on the coat tails of their predecessors

for the same dollar, heres a better buy with only 30,000klm on the clock and you still get a numbered car!

Well its purely opinionated isn't it? There's no right or wrong answer here is there???

But to be honest real GT's stopped with the XB imo.

Better buy as in less klms for similar money, and a car that is still numbered

yes there is a right answer. mine. everyone else is wrong.

agreed. but then they started again with the eb. then stopped. then started with the el, then stopped. then there was nothing worthy of a gt badge for eons, 2002/3 i believe, and its been back ever since.

im(not so)ho, kays are just a number to help with self abuse... condition is everything. no point having a car with all its value tied up in its low kays, because as you said yourself
