I read the article in the 'Sunday Times'. At the end of the day, they gave the Cruze 3-out-of-5 stars, while Focus got 4-out-of-5 stars.

In their opinion the Focus is the better car (but then we knew that all along).

I am seeing more and more new Focus on our roads (around Perth). The Cruze hatch seems to have been a failure, with only one spotted in the Swan Valley months ago - the Cruze sedan however seems to be everywhere - I see more Cruze sedans than I do VE Commodores.

In a disturbing Bogan twist I am even starting to see lowered and modified Cruze sedans

Perhaps the class is growing too much for hatches. They're now the size of mid sizers from a decade ago.

Doesn't seem to affect the i30. Massive sales last month, and it's easy to see why - the new i30 is a really, really good product.

I read an Cars Guide article on the Renault Clio coming next year and the article said "its as good as the Fiesta" and it has a 900cc turbo motor....it will be interesting to see how Renault price it !!!

Anyways, yes the Focus to me is a better car. I just thought it was a bit of a funny point because a lot of people bag out the Cruze

I've seen Chev badges on them as well. Now that's stretching the GM connection...
