MrEL- Crud! I forgot to mention earlier... I did ask about the helpers.the guy said the problem with them is they only take the load from the middle of the spring, not the entire spring. So under really heavy loads such as mine the stock leafs are often damaged (bent) at the far edges of the spring. He also doesn't believe they conform to ADRs, so maybe look into that too. I'd hate to see someone voided of an insurance claim because of them!

ther is another style over load spring that can either sit on top of the leaf pack or sit underneath them, they are clamped in the middle and help support the load from the ends of the spring pack, they where as common as cigarette butts on the ground in the old days, s spring maker could easily make a set, cheap and easy to fit, and adjustable.
a piccy from google images, imo this is all you need, pic 1801, don`t need expensive add ons just a simple over load leaf, many variation on this , but you get the pic, if you can`t buy new i would be checking old wagons and utes at wreckers for a pair. edit, i`m a dipstick forgot to put the link....try again. http://www.hellwigproducts.com/produ...elper-springs/ Last edited by mik; 07-03-2013 at 01:34 PM.
