not sure how hg is claiming he is the victim - however, while he "is" a victim of his own actions, this line seems to sum up hg's thoughts

what was hg and everyone else supposed to do - take his car and crush it. stay at his house 24/7 and make sure he doesn't have any more sets of keys. slam his head in the car door until he gives over his keys . . . . really what

i think he should get a massive sentence, but instead of picking on a member's post, maybe people should put all that time and energy into getting the laws changed

report him to the police. a few court visits, a few fines (or even jail), and he may have finally gotten the message.

fact is, if the friends/relatives of both parties had been more diligent, no one would be dead.

it seems his license was disqualified for 18-20 years - the justice system does not work
he was quite obviously caught for serious offences . . . . or for driving while unlicensed before, so how would letting the local cops know do anything at all

but how do you know the cops weren't informed and because (like in most situations) the cops hands are tied with red tape, nothing could be done anyway

and while not suggesting that he should have been driving, because if he wasn't then he would not have been involved in the accident, does anyone here actually know why the accident occurred - i am not blaming anyone for the accident, because i don't know, but does anyone actually know why it happened in the first place

well that is interesting - if it is true, then someone else is responsible for the accident too . . . . regardless of the actions that directly led to it

One factor is speed, The news reported the speed limit on that section of road is 100km/h.
http://goo.gl/maps/nbwI8 You can make your own assumptions based on that section of road, I'm sure all the arm chair CSI investigators will :P

Police say both motorists involved in Tuesday’s fatal car crash north of Casino, had been banned from driving.

Police say the driver of the second vehicle, who died at the scene, had also been banned until November this year.
Unfortunately its bad result of poor decisions.

Enough of the lynch mob.

As stated above BOTH drivers were disqualified so if either of the drivers (the one who lived and the one who was killed) did not drive then the innocent children would still be alive.

It is a tragedy, let the courts sort it out.

And for those who passed, Rest in Peace.
