Just went for a drive out to Alex Heads... parked up top of the headland... couldn't find the bloody thing ( : ) and looked straight up, must've just missed the full eclipse, got a view of it just coming out of the eclipse and damn it was bright.

I didnt get any really great ones either, and I did have a tripod! I think i need one of those cable release buttons or remote to eliminate shake at all. Using full 300mm zoom and digital zoom, you still can see movement in the camera when pressing the shoot button on the tripod

I was out Cronulla way and didn't the people come out to see this! The beach parking was so busy it was almost like a 40 deg summer Sunday. At 8pm on Tuesday night!

Getting behind the dunes blocking out the lights from the Shire, the only sources of light were a few orange lights from Kurnell and the headlights of incoming aircraft. Looked awesome.

Wow, cool photos there.

Me & a couple of friends went up to Mt Lofty and watched it from the main carpark up there, not bad but wasn't as exciting as I hoped it would be, then again I dunno what I'd hoped for!

Still, was a nice night out.
