Thanks again guys just for the record I did 5 or 6 serious passes the rest with passengers the best off was the 13.723 with 1.98 60ft @102.51 mph with a couple of 13.8s motor is how it came from the factory 5spd 220 + unichip, G+D cai.. exhaust was dropped from cat back + some niffty migging by bri bri put 2x 2 1/2 hot dogs onto the cats just to take the edge of the noise (must be getting old ) tyers were kev hand me downs toyo proxys on stock16" steel ford rims, spare out of the boot + 3/4 s of tank of fuel..

Well done Woosha. Not only have you done a great time, but it seems you have managed to keep all the I6 boys quiet. Where are all the NA I6 boys claiming that the I6 is just as good if not better than the 5.0 Windsor? You may be able to wring 170+ rwkw out of a 6, but you just can't beat the torque of a V8!

Great effort whoosha, the mph is skitz!!!!!!!!! What rpm did you shift and were in the rev range are the gains in regards to the chip? I'll just have to try alot harder from now on. What was the ambient temperature and any head wind like calder?

You did alright too mate,I forgot to mention your new 03 XR6T,totally stock other than a new set of spark plugs & an hour of flashtuning on the dyno after you picked it up on Thursday night as a last minute effort for Heathcote .LOL.Resulting in a blistering 12.9 Well done :evil_laug Can't wait to start playing with that one.

Generally you are right. But it depends on the qualtiy of the v8 and 6. Fluke motors do exist.
