I honestly think thats something comming in the 07 polo. DSG option.

Teki, RIGHT now i couldnt see myself in the xr5... they look good. but they are a bit showy. Look at me look at me sorta thing. Which isnt bad.

But right now im kinda trying to step away from that. GTI is pretty classy (especially in white)

Going to be a fantastic little highway cruiser and corner bruiser.

Doubt it Mitch. I do believe the DSG wasn't compatible with the Polo's 1.8T... or that it was too big to be fitted.

Hey, they are understated though - heaps of people don't know them. Don't tell me the GTI isn't "Look at me? I'm a snob cause my key has a VW symbol..." :P

You said it yourself - classy.

Hehe, I can't wait to give you a few bruises though :P hehe. Old Pac Highway - be there or be square!

LoL teki... i know it wont be as fast and as hardcore as the clio.

Because the polo gti wasnt really designed to be a stripped out road rocket.

clio has 180hp... and weighs under 1100 kg iirc.

GTI weighs in at a chubby 1190 kg or so and has 150 hp. Instantly the differences between the cars are made clear... the vw put simply.. feels alot more solid :o the doors are big and heavy. theres lots of interior space. lots of gizmos and lots of airbags.

Through old pac, the gti will be a fun little car and i have no doubt in my mind it will nail the fiesta to the wall. That little blue thing might still be a bit out of its reach though....

Hehe, Clio has more Gizmos, and achieved the same safety rating (with two less airbags : And the Fiesta did it with two less airbags then the Clio :gren: )

Only "special" gearbox they made for the 1.8 was the CVT fitted to the audi.

Congrats on the car

You mean SPANISH.

When i took a polo for a spin it felt VERY well screwed together. very solid.

I have read quite a few reviews and everyone agrees, the polo feels very well put together, they had no problems at all and they found it a pleasure to drive in any conditions.

GTI vs Clio @ Old Pac, sounds like its on like donkey kong. Ill tag along in my Fez to keep you both respectable, but doubt thats gonna happen.

Anyways good luck with the Polo.

I'm Portuguese, so I understand everything you wrote.

And simply, yes. I wouldn't trust the spanish :P

Hehe, well, I'm assuming the French would be better - they do afterall make Citroen, Peugeot (expensive models only) and Renaults

Argh yes, but the Fiesta was German built, not German owned :

Now my cousin is getting his, I really miss the Fiesta. Wish a family member had bought it! Oh well, not long till I get my Zetec fix from his car!

hey mitch what color Polo gti and what accessories/rims/bodykit.

i do admit the Polo gti is extremely Sexual. the leather interior with the sunroof and bodykit rear poiler and rims make me wanna go and trade in my fez for one. but its not practical for me. i dont need one, even though i really want one, but i wont get one. ohh and the exhaust tips and exhaust NOte. awe pure suxual chocolate. but at the end of the day the fez is what brings a smile to my dial. i got a bit more growing up to do (physically not mentally ) before i buy a luxury sportier car. ATM boys toys rule.

good buy mitch..hoping for sum *pulling* power im guessing. hehehehe im sure you'll be a chick magnet with that car now lol. or cop bait. either one.

Hahaha cop bait i dont think so.

Cuz itl be STOCK !

replacement panel filter and thats that ! for now............mwahah

Its going to be ''candy white'' and so far the only option im getting is the luxury interior trim. So anthracite (dark grey) leather sports seats, with leather door trims etc etc

Stock GTI rims, i was going to get the 17inch rims. But they are SOO dear as an option i decided to not upgrade the wheels at this time.

Not getting the bodykit. As i really REALLY fancy the standard black skirts and front little black lip. Dont ask me why but i really like it stock haha.

Sunroof is still undecided....
