Point of advise !
That poor sods ebay account has been hacked for them to get the details. Paypal is the cause of it mostly. DO NOT SEND DETAILS - name or account - he bought the item - it should be on his VIEW PAYMENT DETAILS SCREEN - If you send your name (identity fraud) If you send bank details (clean you out) via above - your left with the bill If its legit they'll leave a negative feedback (big deal - you can reply to it ) whats worse ? LOSING YOUR IDENTITY or A LITTLE RED NUMBER ON SOME WEBSITE? My parents details were stolen through paypal by some Indonesian, who was spending up. Takes forever to get money back. Tell them to send a money order or bank cheque and when it clears, u'll send it. |

What if i send my Postal address and my first name + false last name, and ask for a cheque to be mailed? If he pays, awesome!

If the auction stated Australian buyers only and if buyer is overseas they are not compliant with the terms of your auction. Relist! Don't waste your time with buyers like this. If you cop a negative feedback reply in kind with the facts only.
cheers Bill.
