The Srilanka vs RSA match was pretty good. Maligna took four wickets in four balls :.

Pretty amazing effort. He has the most bizarre action but he bowls some of the best yorkers I've ever seen.

He must have incredible timing, because it's so roundarm he has to let the ball go precisely otherwise he'll end up spraying it wide. It's remarkable that he has such control. He's a great find for Sri Lanka. |

Australia v Bangladesh, rain delays play, game reduced to 22 overs each.
Ponting wins the toss and decides to bowl. |

just to pick you up on a minor point, batting average is calculated by runs divided by wickets. thats why a few 'not outs' will do your average wonders. a certain mr bevan used to get criticised for protecting his average as quite often he would end up not out. hussey is similar but starting to be more human these days |

bangladesh have now beaten nz, india and now rsa this world cup. at least we're not the only ones to be beaten by them now. they are really helping us out though as rsa and nz are our only threats i reckon and now we have a win up on rsa.
good stuff. |

Bowlings looking a little dodgy atm, at this stage looks like we're going to chase a decent total.

Great fight back by the aussie bowlers, England looking at a score of 300+ at the halfway mark to be bowled out in the last over for 247.

A good win. The stand-in bowlers went well at times and McGrath made a good comeback after being hit all over the place. The only downside I can see is that the lower order batsmen didn't get any practise in. I think Hussey and Hodge (if he stays in the team) need a good hit out. Maybe they could be moved up in the order for one of the "lower" games.

I watched most of it, seems to me that they were just cruising when they were chasing the runs. Not much of a match in the end.

Easy win for the aussies, Ireland - 91 bowled out after 30 overs
Australia - 1/92 after 12.2 overs Hussey - 30* Symonds - 15* Gilchrist - 34 Strange decision for Ponting to choose to bowl first instead of giving the guys who havent batted much, some batting practise. |
