I would have not brought it at all. I would have sunk the money into gold or something. Oh well this makes good noise.

Would have gone the manual or a T3. Still in Venom though. Ahh well this is better than a T3 now anyhow :

No nothing like that. I was in getting the front tyres done the otherday and while I was waiting, i started looking at the wheels on display and some other cars in the workshop. Then on the way home I spotted a few nice AU's and I started to think what would I have done if I started again. So it's all come from the black hole in my head :

Just a thought process.

Actually, the thread is about the car you have and what you would have done differently. Not whether you would have bought a different car. : We all know my answer on that :nutsycuck

Vehicle in question: AUII XL 1-tonne V8.
1. Should have bought an XLS non-1-tonne
2. Would have installed proper twins
3. Would NOT have installed LPG
.. simple in hindsight

well i bought my cooper s for $10k and sold it for $18k, then spent about $18k (including mods) on the AU and its probably worth $10k, so i've gone backwards... shoulda stuck to the classics and bought an XY instead... might still do it anyway

nothing wrong with doing up Xcabs, you buy them cheap and you have more money to play with or if you are on a tight budget like myself and do alot of the work yourself can come up rather nice. all it takes is a nice bargain or 2 to help you along.

Either :

1 - Not spent money on cams and saved for the turbo gear straight up
2 - Saved up my money for that sweet - but 40k priced - TE50 at Peter Warren (even the g/f loved it)

Oh gee, thanks. Rub my face in it. I thought I was doing the right thing as far as the family goes - little did I know. But that's why it's called live and learn. Still, I had it for nearly 2 years and only dropped $4k on it - tell me how many falcons that happens to???

Isn't heinsight a wonderful thing.

I would change nothing to what I have done or plan to do. I may not of gone to the extent that I am planning but that is what happens when you read the forums and the mod bug bites lol.

Going back in time I would buy a manual Meteorite T3 TS50 or money permitting a black T3 TL50.
