Can see it coming together. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 4

Fitted nolathane bushes and new ball joints to the front lower suspension arms and sprayed them up. Will fit them and lowered Kings springs and Billsteins all round tomorrow.
I also booked my Froggy in at my smash repairer to have the front bar sprayed yet again as I am sick of looking at it. |

got the lpg switch re-soldered yesterday and fitted it and then on the way home chucked 4 bags of 70 litre potting soil in the back and will take a big load of cardboard to the can recycling yard on the way to work (you can dump it for free)
looked online for the next set of tyres for the xh (want something with some mega tread for driving around the block) made a cuppa tea walked outside looked at the ute and thought blimey she needs a good wash and would prob come up pretty good with a quick polish too...i then proceeded to roll a cig and sit on my ***

I pulled the brake switch out and cleaned it, bloody faulty thing. Might need to buy a new one.

Drove it to the shopping centre, parked away from all the mothers with prams (bad experience with dints), drove it home, and parked it in the garage.

Washed the Gold Coast smog off it and let it enjoy Capricornia air again.

Decided to throw some fog lights on it.....though bugger the little ones, ill get the big old school xe s pack types.
Not sure if I am sold on how they look. The wagon is a bit daggy anyway with the wind deflectors on the doors and roof racks so they kinda fit. Might need to go with a big old 80s pinstripe down the side to bring it all together.

Removed the carbon fibre vinyl wrap from the lower half of the front bar and resprayed it with plasti dip. Lets see how long it lasts in the firing line...although I must say the wheels have done pretty good over the last 2 years with no touch ups required and that includes driving through dirt roads and gravel.

Drove it to get groceries, snow and ice on the roads demanded engage 4x4 to prevent accidental yaw. Though occasionally giving it a bit of extra throttle around the corners just for fun. Then drove it to work. Yesterday was a little more interesting, I carried my Polaris Sportsman 850 Touring on the back to get it serviced. Reminded me that I do have a kind of need for it that a Prius would not fulfill. Then I remembered I couldn't care less if I had a real need or didn't. I like it.

Replaced the l/h half shaft seal in the diff.
Think I might have to replace the half shafts if it leaks again as there was a nice groove where the seal runs. Tried to buff it out but not convinced it'll be right though. bugger.
