I have always had this argument with my brother. I don't give a **** what you borrow as long as you return it to the same place in the same condition.

The crime is he nicked my craft beers and replaced them with shit beers. That's if he did at all

No! Definitely not. I was taught: if you would like to be able to borrow something, from the same person more than once, always return it in the same, or better condition than when you borrowed it.
Pretty simple really. Having OCD also helps make THAT process so much easier for me.

I shared a house a long time ago, and this *** clown of a druggy borrowed my No.2 Australian made Stanley phillips head screw driver

(without my permission) to undo a large phillips head screw and fcked it. I was ****ed. I wanted to punch him the fck out. I had that long shanked no.2 for 15+ years, and it was my no.1 go to screw driver.

Sometimes it sucks to take care of things and become W A Y to attached to them. Sure, I can go to Bunnos and buy a replica NON Aussie made Stanley.. but as those who know, the Australian made Stanley / Sidcrome are miles ahead in terms of durability.

I was in a share house scenario. It had a shed / carport type arrangement

that ran along side the house.
It wasn't lockable or exclusively for MY use. All of the tenants were overseas students (4 + myself). One moved out, and druggy moved in.
The owners are Asain, and didn't give a rats about who lived there as long as the rent was paid.
Anyway, as I was the only Aussie, and car flipper entrepreneur... it was ideal. I could fit 2 cars easily under cover, and another 3 in the front yard.
My tools were in the "shed". I made it known that NO ONE is to touch my stuff. And no one did, as the other guys wouldn't know a ring spanner from a pir of pliers. Not being mean here, just saying they were young, and from various backgrounds, Asain, Indian, Nepalese, Chinese etc. Great guys, got along well with all of them.
I had a granny flat out the back and was paying $80 a week. So was separated from the hub bub of the house hold. Worked well for me. Made tonnes of money flipping cars over the 8 years I lived there.
Hated to having to move. But the fact of the matter was, the house was only ever an investment property, to be knocked down and subdivided:

Slightly off topic I suffer OCD when it comes to tools, why I don't know, but it drives me nuts when I misplace them at times, or some bugger borrows without asking.
I know it is easy to replace missing tools, but I must know what has become of them, no matter what.
These days my garage is out of bounds to everyone when I'm not home.

Banks, and their over-zealous fraud protection. Bought two items from the US on Fleabay, first time it flagged a suspicious transaction, second time it locked the card without asking first. Yet I can spend a couple of hundred at an EFTPOS here without a care in the world.

Then he stopped talking about now....

I had a similar drama.. kinda..

I was at the pawn shop, and Bought my Makita kit. Cordless: grinder, drill, impact driver, 3x 5 amp batteries, single battery charger + a Makita tool bag for $330.
Couldn't be happier. Thought I'd hit the jackpot, as I didn't have any cordless tools at that stage.

Next thing ya know, bank sends me a text saying they have cancelled my card due to a suspicious transaction, as that porn shop (misspelt on purpose) had a LOT of dodgey transactions, and they took it upon themselves to flag mine as one of them, killing the only card I have.

Hmm, ok, so it's a Friday around 4pm ( a few years ago ), and a long weekend.. on the following Monday.
No banks open to withdraw my dosh. Pretty hard to use the hole in the wall without a card right?

Like what does a man do? I was so P I S S E D.. I'm sure the next time I took a pee it was a solid red...

Luckily I (at the time) always had atleast 5 large on hand, so it didn't have to much of an impact.. paying for stuff in person, but what about paypal and other online things I might want to buy? Tough titties was their reply.

What a hassle of having to wait 8 days for a new card among other things... like resetting all my auto debits, paypal, Ebay etc etc etc.

Hate them with a passion - banks -

One Man.

If it was the real deal, I bet you be glad the bank locked the card and stopped the transaction, funny how the banks work at times.
With fleabay and online transactions I prefer using Paypal if available, better than using own bank cards directly, less hassles.

Ordered some kids presents online, through a major retailer, thought I would put the delivery address as work so it can be delivered during working hours, get a call from a Asian dude at 11.30 at night on a Saturday asking me why I am not at the address to receive the items ?

Asked him, does it look like a residential property or a factory unit, then told him he was a fool to even think I would be at work, let alone at 11.30 on a Saturday night.

A couple of weeks ago, we had a customer who came in and bought 5 advanced trees, was about 10am on a Saturday morning.

For context, Saturday is the biggest trading day of the week for us, so deliveries are generally left until after 3pm - 4pm. By then, its usually quietened down and one of the three staff members on duty can be spared.

At 12pm, the customer was back second guessing his purchase, which is fine but after discussion, he was wanting to know when his delivery would be made..............despite being told on his first visit that it would be after 4pm. A few hours later, about 3pm, he sent his wife back in to ask if the delivery would be coming soon. I sort of cracked it by then and loaded the van up and drove to the address, and I'm not joking here, a mere 60-second drive around the corner.

The guy was quite nice, but went on to politely complain about how no one in this country worked hard enough and everything shuts at 5pm, whereas in his country, you could get service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in any and every business. I played along but couldn't help but wonder at the irony of him complaining about people in this country not working night and day as he shlepped around in his thongs and tracky dacks on clearly a day off for him.

I'll let you guess the nationality here.
