I remember when the first predictions started coming out with the pointed leading edges of the headlights... just modified the headlights abit to see what it would look like with a more accurate pic, i think it might of took the aggression away from the final design...

I didn't think Toby Hagon's article was that bad? Better than the drivel that masturbator Dowling came out with.

The V8SC will look sweet.
Has there been an official announcement as to if they are going to go for one more year?

Usual crap about how Ford's closing its factories, how it took a huge loss last FY, there was like one paragraph talking about the XR8 the rest of it was verbiage about how Ford are going down the gurgler

It may be possible with some modifications, I recall reading it wasn't able to be done due to something not being symetrical. Like I said though, quite happy to be proved wrong, there are people that know better than me. |

With an EF/EL or AU/BA it would have been impossible. With an FG, the groundwork is there, but how much fabrication is needed is the question. Perhaps the I6 may have to go in favour of ecoboost V6 or i4 to accomodate steering rack

FG was designed so that LHD could be possible from memory.

The steering rack/system would have to be on the manifold side, so there might have to be some modifications to that for it to fit? I know with my 130i, if I want to buy headers for it, I need RHD specific ones for the way the steering rack is designed on the drivers side of the car. It's an I6 as well, so I thought it could be a similar reason. |

we're yet to see the G6ET but here's today's G6E N/A reveal next to ONE of the CGIs i guessed at a week or two ago. The turbo should have the wheels i have on my render i reckon. Wasn't too far off.

Here's a little Xr6-G6E GIF I made to show how little the differences are between the two renders of the car.

I agree, I think the G in the driving lights looks great. Can't wait to see some rear shots.

TBH, I prefer your render, Professor.
I reckon all Ford's render needs is better rims like you said, plus the lower grille changed to chrome, and a more pronounced bonnet bulge/style. Edit: I also don't understand the two black things on each side of the lower grille in the Ford render, I think it detracts from the look of the car. |

G6E front end looks 10x better than the XR imo.
Territory also looks better int he above CGI compared to the leaked Wheels images. Also Territory looks like it has same wheels are the XR6?

I feel that the G6E needs a bit more bling.
Maybe the bottom grille needs chrome, or the honey comb behind both grilles needs to be silver.......i could be wrong, it might be too much - will have to do it on photoshop to find out, It looks pretty fantastic, but it looks more like a G6 than a G6E Also, have they got rid of the DRLs on the Titanium Territory? |

No, just a poor CGI that does not accurately reflect actual wheel size, tyre size, offset or vehicle height.
