Okey here we go as per my sig 1997 EL Falcon Wasn't bad for a first car while on L plates. Transmission was a bit clunky. 2003 BA Futura Loved this car. BAs really caught my eye when they were first out, such a nice design. Even though our family has always been Fords, the BAs began my very own Ford fascination. 2003 BA Fairmont Ghia Upgraded to this as my parents were always wanting to upgrade car and bought my BA Futura. Great car but I wanted a little more 'go' so I bought the 300ZX. 1992 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Always wanted one from when I was younger so picked this up for a weekend car and kept the Ghia as the work horse as it was on LPG and great on fuel . Was a very fun and quick little car. Not so great on fuel and maintenance wasn't so fun lol. Unfortunately one of the turbochargers had died and also needed a head gasket so sold it cheap. Very sad watching it go :(. 2008 FG G6E Turbo Time to upgrade and the BA Ghia was sold to my mum and I picked this up early this year. What can I say, have been enjoying it 100% since!

My turn:
1 - 1974 Datsun 120Y sedan. Ended up painting it snow white an d colour coding the bumpers & hubcaps etc with GT stripes - looked the goods. 2 - 1980 Ford 2.0 Escort Sundowner panel van. I wish that I'd understood the significance of this car as a 20yo - I'd probably still have it. 3 - 1995 Lancer CC Coupe. 4 - 1998 Mitsubishi Triton dual cab 5 - 1998 Nissan Navara cab chassis 6 - 2004 Holden Crewman. One of the best cars I have owned (I know its a Ford forum - but it's true. I'd still have it if I could fit a baby capsule in the back seats!). 7 - 1968 Holden HD Premier (actually my wife's). Her other car was a 2003 Astra. 8 - 2002 Mitsubishi Pajero Currently have: 9 - 2004 GU3 Nissan Patrol 10 - 2004 BA Falcon ute 11 - 1978 XC hardtop = the project. Bit of a mix there. |

1. 1982 Ford KA Laser Ghia, blue, 5 speed manual, completely stock. Was good while it lasted, had it from 1999 when I was on my Ps, until mid 2000 when it was blowing black smoke out of the exhaust. Sold it for $1100.
2. 1989 Ford EA Falcon GL, white, auto, 3.9 CFI. Again, completely stock. I don't particularly like modified cars. During the 7 years I've owned it, the cylinder head went twice, hydraulic tappets made a racket, roof lining was falling off ... so in about 2004 I had to decide between whether to fix the car, or buy another second hand E-series Falcon (all I could afford at the time) with another set of problems. I decided to fix it, spent over twice the value of the car on rebuilding the engine, fixing the roof lining etc. Ran perfectly well for the next 3 years until I sold it in 2007 for $2000. 3. 2005 Ford BF Fairmont - lightning strike. Bought it as an ex-shire council car, less than one year old and had only 16,000kms. Only problems I've had are the silver door trims falling off, and the side bolster of the front passenger seat squeaks when someone is sitting in it. Thinking about forking out on a new front passenger seat, as it's really annoying me. But for now I just avoid taking any passengers if I can help it.

1st car, 1991 Subaru Liberty GX Sedan while on my L plates. Stuck a nice big milo tin exhaust on the back, sounded fully *** bro!
That got totalled by a half blind old man: Anyway, after that, I decided to listen to my older brother and buy a VS commodore. Soon discovered that it was probably the cleanest straightest original VS on the road in WA: Sold that to my friends sister who got her licence at the end of 2010. Flew over to the gold coast to see the family, bought an AUII Fairmont. Drove that down to Melbourne when we moved. Sadly, before it got written off by a sparky in January I didn't have it long enough to take any pictures :( I can say though, it had 320,000kms on the clock and made it from Gold Coast to Melbourne without any trouble at all After that car was gone, being a Trendy Melburnian, bought myself a little RX7: Anyway, everything went wrong with that car, so I sold it for half of what I paid for it about four months later. Lesso learned, don't buy another rotary! So then bought another Fairmont, this time I wanted one that was faster than the RX7, so I got the Fairmont Ghia with the 302W
