Another vote to kill the wannabe drifter corolla. EPIC FAIL! (on the road anyway)
Also that thing would get laughed at if he took it for a roadworthy inspection. As protd has said: - Mismatched tyres- FAIL - Wheels outside of gaurds - FAIL / DEFECT - Body panels hanging out - FAIL / DEFECT Would be interesting to have a closer look underneath it. Probably has flogged out bushes etc. Maybe the bloke who took the photo should of followed him a bit longer to get a photo of it being defected somewhere because without a doubt if he were here the police would not let that car near a road. If he wants it to be a drift pig and be that rough then maybe he should keep it as a dedicated drift car and trailer it to the circuit. Some cars just arent meant for the road.

Point being would you all be patting him on the back if he crashes that pos and kills someone. Some of you need to read posts properly before you jump on your soap boxes. |

I don't think he would kill anyone, maybe damage a car or injure at most a motorcyclist if you were really unlucky, lol As I said before, it's a bit silly to be driving that around this time of year, police are blitzing and revenue raising, so if I were him, I'd be putting that cop magnet away for the moment. And for a P-Plater, probably enough to kill off his license real quick given we are on double demerits for the next 10 or so days...

I don't think you get the point what everyone has been saying mate. Anyone 'could' drift into someone and kill them. Simple. This bloke could be one of the safest drivers in the world for all you and I know. It does show he isn't the smartest though... As for the whole "Point being would you all be patting him on the back if he crashes that pos and kills someone.": Grow up, and get off your soap box after asking such a stupid question as this. Back to topic maybe? I reckon this is a pretty big FAIL

On the AE86...pig or not, its a poo-heap, and i doubt it would be allowed on a racetrack...it looks as if it would fail the scrutineering inspection.

I have more worries about knobs with cortinas, already a lead tipped arrow if there ever was one, with big ole heavy V8's in the front plough understeering into oncoming traffic.

i'm not worried, just shows how many pole smokers there are out there, the comment about knobs with v8 cortina's makes me laugh, my car was not ever a streetcar and i don't own it anymore.. and the knob that made the comment obviously has never driven one.. if he has it was probably built by some half **** moron who did'nt do the much needed upgrades that make them a safe road car.. like i said before the car is a pos accident waiting to happen, anyone that thinks otherwise is entitled to their opinion, but i certainly won't agree with it, i'm happy the DOT take **** heaps like that off the rd... for what it's worth i'm not arguing with anyone, i have a opinion, i'm just voicing my opinion, others have their's i also respect their opinion even though i don't agree with it Have a merry xmas everyone Last edited by protd; 25-12-2011 at 06:55 AM. |

I'll just quote someone from Facebook the other day and say if you see a Commodore or a Falcon in that condition it's a bogan hunk of junk. If it's a Jap car all of a sudden it's a fully sick JDM drift pig.

while it is most definitly a defect magnet the way it is, comparing it to a falcodore in the same condition is like comparing apples to oranges.
when was the last time you saw a falcon with a widebody kit? look at the rear 1/4s, definete wide body kit, front guards are the same deal, rear hatch looks to be fibreglass, someone has spent significant coin on it, and i wouldnt be surprised if given a clean and its correct rears if it was a bit of a beast. who knows it may have jst had a few hard track sessions and the owner hasnt had a chance to finish fixing it up just yet. theres many half finished projects in here that people get very defensive about when someone suggests theyre a bucket of crap. same same. |

Its the fact that its a more track prone car which has no right to be on public roads. Who gives a flying Christmas who likes it or not, the owner probably loves his 'pig' so our opinions don't mean shiz. Posting fails is what this thread is about, so go! |

a pineapple is a term used to refer to a type of suspension bush commonly used in drift cars... not that that's whats written on that car anyway... |

i thought a pineapple was a $50 note lol, be nice if the local traffic authority handed them out.
that vr/s looks like someone got a $1000 autobarn voucher for christmas. pity, it actually looks like a real clean straight one other than all the tacky bits. |
