Hi Everyone
Wondering if anyone can help me with AU 2 sportsman 2002 wheel centre caps I am after the full dish type with the ghia symbol in the centre. They also have an Allen key screw to hold them in place. Here is a photo 20220105_164655.jpg |

Hi Guys. This is my first post. Feels like family being amongst for lovers. I grew up with ford v8s in my father's cars and ski boats. I am 55 now and just hanging on with a pristine 4.6 ltr explorer. Had an XY 351, F150, fairlane and LTD, So I it's in my blood. My 17 year old son seems to have caught the bug. So my question to all of you is, we are looking at manual swapping a Fairlane BF 5.4 Ltd 2006 6spd auto or a 2003 4spd auto to a Manual.
The reason is there are not many v8s P plate friendly. The fairlanes and LTD are. So any advise would be appreciated. One of the biggest hurdles (I think) will be the ECU/Computer/harness situation. Hope that wasn't to boring guys. Thanks for reading. |

Hi Guys. This place is great. This is my first post. I have a BF ute 2006.After 3-4 attempts to start it won't crank anymore. When i opened the bonnet i saw a rat in the engine bay.I can't see any sign of damage. A car electrician told me there is no communication from the PCM.Now the engine light won't come and there is no gear selection in the display. I found the Cam H from the PCM to the socket in the fuse box is open circuit . I understand the PCM is locked so it won't start again.
Any help would be appreciated . I hope this it the right way to post.(newbie). Thank you |

Hi folks,
Thought to join as I’m now in the market for my first Ford after nearly forty years of various company vehicles. I’m thinking a FG (hopefully X) XR6 Ute. It’ll be my daily and only say 15,000 km per year. Everybody had good experience with FG Falcon? Shaun |

G’day everyone. I’ve had a PK ranger for a while now and have learned a few things and solved some problems they may have. Hopefully I can be of some help and save someone from spending too much of their hard earned cash.
Cheers |

Hello again .
I would like to say thank you very much to all on here for helping me to fix my car . Every one was spot on . If i would have know this earlier . The repair took me all weekend , no new pcm , just a piece of wire , heat shrink and a whole roll of insulation tape . Never mind. Another lesson learnt. Thank you again. Cheers Joe |

Hi,
I have recently signed on as a new member, with an interest in getting information from fellow members re MK 1 Escorts. I did post a week or so hoping there were cars that might be available thru the club. Perhaps I posted incorrectly, as I have not had a response todate, although I can seem some members have reviewed my post. I have owned a MK 1 a few years ago, and intended to restore it. Unfortunately it had too much rust for me. I have always admired the MK 1 and would like to try again. This time however restoration is not a option for me. If there are members who are familiar with the MK 1, I would be keen to hear what advice members/owners can offer me. Thank you, Barry (Adelaide) |

Hi all.
Thanks for having me. After a lifetime of owning Holden's, I fell into some hard times and found myself without money or a car. I was then gifted a 2008 Ford Focus for my birthday. I love driving this car. It has blown me away. I never want to part with it. So that's why I'm here. To gets some pointers of how to get the most out of it and make it last. |

Hi guys my name is Pete, new here and am in awe of this great site with so many crazy Ford Lovers! Have just put a few finishing touches to my 92 f150 5.8 5spd last aussie built 57000 original kms (stored 27 years). I said finishing touches really I just buffed it and put some tint on the windows with a set of rims and tires. The interior is like a caption in time as is under the bonnet and everywhere else. The only area that has been touched is a beautifully installed set of long GENIE headers (EGR compatible) New here so when Ive sussed it Ill throw a pic of it on here. ALSO been wondering if there is a way to track down an old engine block. Like the original engine in my xa gt rpo83 coupe. Would appreciate any help cause you guys and girls on here know the difference between OEM and not. Cheers Pete

Hi All,
My name is Matt, I'm a long-time lurker first time poster. We're lucky as enthusiasts to have such a wealth of information archived on these forums and it's great to be a part of it. Looking forward to finding out about the members here and what they drive (especially some nice car pics!). I myself drive a 2004 build Mercury Silver BA Falcon XR6 Turbo A4 in original condition (never been tuned or otherwise played with). Only additions are a braided oil feed line to the turbo for increased reliability and a genuine BA F6 Typhoon airbox + high-flow filter (for increased induction noise!). Thanks heaps! Matt |

Greetings all.
My name is Frank. I inherited my father's XD 4.1 GL sedan which he bought new. It has been in storage and fortunately undercover since it came into my possession . It has minimal rust and has a straight body an a near perfect interior. I have now decided it is time to do a ground up restoration with a few enhancements thrown in. I'll post some pictures at we go though the various stages and i will be seeking some help with a few things I want to do with the XD. |

I think I was very lucky with it, at the time I was looking for either an AU II or III XR8 or a BA XR6 Turbo. Those cars have always stuck out for me since my youth as being some of the best Ford Australia has produced.
Anyway, my brother found it on Facebook marketplace of all places, being sold by the original owner with 133,000km on it. That was April 2019. It's now just ticked over 150,000km. It's not my daily and I've been trying to slow the mileage but I can't help but drive it all the time. All the others I had looked at were modified and thrashed with questionable (or completely missing) histories. It was just one of those situations where the exact car you want in the exact specification you want came up at just the right time. I've looked at pics of your old TS50 and can only dream of what it would have been like to own one of those beasts! Mind you the FGX XR8 and the 'Stang are fairly handy replacements. Out of all your cars its the XR6 that I have a soft spot for, its just so "perfect" - great colour, and the exact options I would have gone for in the 6 speed auto, premium ICC and the blue trim (way better than the all too common black). |

And yes, the ability to choose interior colours on BA, BF and early FG's was a nice touch. Black, black, black seems to be all that's offered these days.
