1st - '92 KH Laser - 1.6 carby, 3 speed auto, my first car and I loved it, Gutless though.
2nd - '01 AUII Forte - Great car... had a few issues though, mostly due to the previous owners not really looking after it.
3rd - '07 Mitsubishi 380 Sports - Don't really know what I was thinking when I bought this - it had some guts, but a really small boot (try fitting a pram in it) was slab sided, awkward looking (really needs to be lowered) and a cheap interior kinda ruined it for me. regretted buying it about a month after I got it.
4th - The Car in my sig. Love it, easily the best car i've ever owned/driven

MY favourites are surprisingly

1. Pintara 2.4. It was lowered to the floor and had a big droney exhaust and no power steering and 5 spd manual.. Even when your doing 60km/h in that car it felt like you were going 100km/h (like VL commodores). So imagine driving it to QLD and back from sydney at 120km/h (felt like 200km/h). It was so low you would feel every bump in the road and that exhaust droned like crazy. Honestly driving to QLD at night in rain was so enjoyable, felt like I was slipping and sliding, bouncing the whole way, like a rally car. had to really muscle the car all over the road.

2. Falcon XF, back in my early days, had so many different girls in the back seat of that. My current mrs made me sell it due to its history. nothing like a ford backseat when your 18-21yrs old.

You know that was one of the biggest reasons that I was attracted to the AU series, my AUII Fairmont I paid $2750 and it drove from Gold Coast to Melbourne no troubles, when it got totalled I got paid $6500 odd for it,

my Fairmont now I paid $4500, if it gets smashed I get about $9000 for it, people don't know what they're worth when they sell them

Modern? Jeez, where do I start? I've leapt ahead 20 years in automotive technology with the XR8 (even though it is 10 years old).
It's like trading in your horse for a model T !
Would've loved power steering on the Rover. . . it made do with 50 odd turns lock to lock instead. It was pretty awesome off-road though.
