I had not seen this before until today:
1993 Ford EB II Falcon XR8 Allan Moffat GT HO. Apparently it was supercharged. http://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/.../#.VSPL_tyUfEM

I have just listed on ebay three workshop manuals, for the AU (3 volumes), the XF and the EF under items numbers 191561262613, 191561262614 & 191561262616.
If you purchase as a result if seeing this, I will donate 10% of the sale price to AFF.

The word beast comes briefly to mind - and is then flicked aside as being utterly inadequate
With some appropriate suspension mods, what an awesome rallycar it would make. Mitso EVOs & WRXs for brekky, yeah!

The only thing that will get that clean is removing the Holden badges.

I had exactly the same thought. But modern cars designs have been progressively looking more alike for ages. That's why I love my classics.

That internal console is quite different.
Personally, never seen anything like it.

Last year a friend from another forum finished restoring an E30 BMW Touring, and took it to our annual forum meet at the Nurburgring.
For a guy with little money or experience in such things, he did a great job, and it's an absolute credit to him. So a couple of other forum members filmed this with the car just recently: https://youtu.be/xtgem4sRvWg There is another part coming shortly, still being edited and so forth. Can't wait to meet this car (and these guys, though I've met the camera guy/editor) in person at Nordscheife this year.

I just love BMW in line sixes. Having just sold my E24 manual a few months ago, were I to buy another the next would probably be a BMW 325 Is.
Cheers Vincenzo

Although ... credit to the owner for the hard work that had gone into restoring this. Is there a weblink to the build thread for it???

I think mostly due to Matt not being used to the car. He's usually quite respectful of people's cars and especially with the amount of work Ales did to this one. Next video will be Ales talking about the car, and what went into it. Build thread can be found here: https://forums.finalgear.com/post-yo...touring-53928/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpY6eTY7g8o The guys that made these are planning more, with other member's cars in the next few months.

You'd think that the one being based on the other would mean virtually identical vehicles bar the badges; not so. From what he could see, the Colorado appeared to be poorly finished in several areas, not least being some ludicrous engine plumbing. He now drives a D-max and is quite happy with it.

And now, for something completely different, comrade....
https://youtu.be/BpO9FBK7Qd8 Seen that styling somewhere before? Yep, good old Soviet reverse engineering of a Packard Patrician, and possibly a few others of the mid 50s. Stalin had a bit of a Packard fetish - an influence which can be seen in Soviet government cars from the mid 30s onwards - though he was long gone when these rolled off the GAZ assembly line. The car is a GAZ Chaika, a luxury car for the top brass (only the ZIL limos, which looked almost identical, were more exclusive), made over there from 1959 to 1981(!). Yes, unchanged in appearance for 22yrs, though various interior trim mods did take place over the years. Here's another clip, with a much better soundtrack, apart from the shot muffler (no daffy Ruski songskis). https://youtu.be/F1Srn-6dfG8 And a clip of one that's had a back to the chassis, ground up resto. https://youtu.be/oZe41pyXibw I so want one.....
