Looks like XR8 gets the current FPV tips which look the goods in my opinion, but I also really hope the XR6 and Turbo get new tips, the current ones have been around since 2002...

Whilst true, any article dated a day back would safely have already shown itself on here by the Facebook/Google spies in the group

Is the above pic a real Ford one or a made up one?? I wish people would stop with the photo shop ones. We don't need them anymore, just focus on the real ones!! It is becoming very hard to follow.

You reckon they've modified the Rear 3/4 panel from FG to FZ in any way? I don't reckon they have. I reckon all the same curves are in place, and it's just the lights, bumper moulding and boot lid that have changed. I reckon you'd go bloody close to being able to fit all of the FZ rear bits onto an FG. I'd even argue that the FZ bootlid could bolt straight onto an FG albeit with mismatching indicator lenses. But the end result could curiously work if it doesn't end up too frankenstein. As an example - have a look at the rear tail lights of a 2008 Mondeo Sedan. Tell me that you don't see just a little bit of BA/BF rear indicator lenses in the shape of the outer lenses, and how the BA/BF might have looked if it had lenses on the bootlid.
The outer edges of the front headlights on the FZ look pretty damn close to FGII as well, to the point where once I thought the front guards would not change from FG to FZ. With the official pics, they do look just marginally different, but man, is it a close call or what. They seem to have that extra side-indicator-lense arperture moulded in, so changing the guard profile around the headlight lense was probably part of the deal in changing the whole guard profile. But I won't be fully satisfied till someone has run a tape measure over the two guard profiles around the front headlight outer edges to see for sure. And on a final note - we're finishing off with the Territory SZ II. It's only fitting that the Falcon should finish on FZ as well. Lukeyson

Wow, now that looks like a Falcon, and completely gets rid of that evolved BA/BF look. if the FZ interior turns out to be underwhelming, this would be an awesome upgrade to a stocko FG, coupled with the awesome new front bodywork.
