So from info above V6 is only available in XLT and Wildtrak? And Not in the XLS range? Even the 4x4??
So much for the V6 being an option across the range! Thanks for clarification. |

The Wildtrack new yellow is growing on me and the little interior touches over the Sport finish it off nicely. Only downside is I'll have to go into next month's allocations as it will be a whole new order.

Just wondering what the issue is in waiting for the 2nd allotment? Just the excitement of the new car or is there something else?
Has this V6 diesel been used in any other cars or is it all new for the Ranger? |

The V6 Diesel is a newer version of the old Territory Lion Diesel.

Pretty happy with those prices.. Im looking at $72,365 + ORC for mine (Wildtrak V6D + Premium Pack + Paint).. Now just to wait for confirmation of D/a from my dealer...
Raptor priced less than I thought at $85k + ORC....

They have done seriously well keeping the price rises to a minimum, especially with all the new tech and features. Very, very well.
The D-Max has had about 3 price rises in the past 6 months in comparison. |

Its a fine line with the Raptor pricing, go to high and your in RAM and Silverado territory.
Agreed generally pricing doesnt seem too bad for the current climate.

Pretty happy with the pricing on paper, hopefully the dealers don’t take the **** too much and I’ll be somewhere between an XLT and a Sport V6. The Raptor is pretty well priced at 85K. |

Seriously thinking about the Raptor now, going from a diesel to petrol would help the pricing but I still assumed it would be closer to 100k

I reckon the new pricing is very fair. $1100 on a vehicle with so many updates and new technology is brilliant. I'm hoping to update from a 20.75 Wildtrak to the V6 Wildtrak when my lease is up in November '23, and $4100 extra seems pretty reasonable.

from above looks like a 3 grand variance from 2.0 to 3.0.
what do you recon?

Is it also possible they’ve reached the ceiling of what people are prepared to pay now? They would have done a tonne of research on this, perhaps we’ve reached the limit for now. |

As far as price rises go they look pretty mild given the updates to me. You had to expect a decent increase for the Raptor but even that ain't too bad.

Anyone in WA got a price yet?
Have a bad feeling it’s going to be closer to $98k here… $93k sounds much better!

That’s actually really good pricing. I’m impressed with that.
An $80k Ram makes a Y62 interior look like a modern vehicle |

I'm pretty annoyed they dropped the low-rider Single Cab.
Not sure what I will do now. If I have to have a high rider, I'm thinking about a 4x4 Single Cab so I can get the twin-turbo engine. Just not sure how I will go with loading my mowers into a high rider. I will otherwise have to look at the Hilux or stay with what I have now. I would love to have a V6 double cab but as a tradesman, the double cab tray is useless.

D-Max who? But seriously the current Isuzu feels so cheap and nasty inside. I couldn’t believe how all the automotive journalists gushed over it. It’s hard plastic everywhere and everything like the center console, door cards, glove box, storage compartments and dash feel so cheap. The seats are ok. The engine is a bit more refined than the previous model but it’s still about 7 years behind the Ranger. The steering is terrible and all the tech is a disaster. Their after sales service is third world and I’m sure they will get taken to task by the accc at some point. Like for like it’s also dearer than the Ranger. So to me Isuzu is all but irrelevant. Can you tell I don’t like them? |

Agree on the $3k premium for the 3.0 diesel but it’s also clear that Ford only wants to supply the 3.0 diesel in already high profit versions and that only one tune was developed, for 4x4 Crew cab. The 3.0 crew cab cab chassis starts just above $60k, so those expecting a low cost $3k premium for the 3.0 diesel across the board are out of luck. It’s also clear that the majority of Rangers sold in Australia are 4x4 crew cabs in XLT and higher trims, so this is Ford catering to a market and a price that’s easily justified with possibly limited engine supply.
