G'day...Talking to a mate in Maryland last night..He's a staunch Democrat but he just wants peace and wants Trump to do a good job...He's not happy but prepared to give this bloke a go..No more protests ."No good for nobody" he said..
"what we got is what we got ...hope he's going to be as good as he says he is " That's what a born and bred American thinks.. Let's see now....Cheers Rod.. |

Those executive orders are nothing now. Trump can terminate all of them with a stroke of his pen if he wishes.
Plus the Republicans control the Presidency, the Senate, the House of Representatives, majority of Governors and their pick for the Supreme Court. |

A question for the Aussie Trump supporters.
Which of Trump's policies are good for you and Australia. Why are you excited by his election to President? Why do you continuously talk about butthurt and payback etc.

You should watch his inauguration speech whereby he talks about how the political class got richer off the decisions they made, enriched other countries and stripped the wealth out of middle class America. All this and more with Obammy and his husband sitting right behind him....

So, it's not anything to do with his policies... You just hate Clinton?

LOL, no. I do not hater her. I said I am not a supporter.
I was actually keen to see Sanders elected. I think of all the candidates I followed he had the best vision for the USA.... and her allies. I think people who hate Clinton, particularly in this thread are being conned by propaganda. I actually think the (unsubstantiated) accusations against Trump are a lot more worrying than those levelled against Clinton. And remember Putin hates her guts... and wanted her out of the election. So, While not a fan, I think it's a con job about Clinton. I believe the Aussie supported of Trump in this thread are "anti" things like muslims, migrants, "Progressives" etc. None of his policies are any good for Australia, so that can be the only reason you support him... because of hatred of other groups. Also have a look at all the promises me made and what he has jettisoned since the election.... The main ones are building a wall, redact the ACA, deport illegal immigrants.... I think some of you need to look into your hearts at the type of people you are....

As far as Hillary Clinton goes, she was one of the architects of the failed Libyan intervention which created another poostorm in the Middle East.
Also the build up of weapons the US was doing with some European nations basically right on Russia's borders. It looks like Putin and Trump are happy to work with each other (on face value anyway), anyone who can smooth over those relations is on a winner I reckon, Hillary Clinton wanted way too much involvement in the Middle East. How does it effect us? Where the USA wants to go fight proxy wars and intervene means we will follow to help them out. The biggest negative I see is that we rely on the USA and their presence in the Pacific for protection, if they want to pull out it leaves us wide open for an aggressor to make moves. |

The trouble with it was that is was negotiated in secret. I'm not even sure it was a good or bad thing that it was scrapped.
