You must have bought really really low to have made 60k. What value did it reach to at it's peak, wasn't it around $3.93? |

That sounds about rite. I bought in at about 25c and sold at about 3.60. I took my stake money out and now I only play with some else’s money. As far as what it’s going to do. You need to do your own research.

This bump is about a fortnight early. But I’ll take it.

It’s early days but xrp seems to be decoupling from bit coin. Not always but more and more often.

They all seem to be decoupling from bitcoin, and some are doing better or worse than others. The so-called “flippening” of Bitcoin and Ethereum is going in reverse: Ethereum is losing ground.
But XRP is up about 14% in the past 3 days, which is about $42K on a $300K outlay.

Yeh 300K is a big gamble, that's what crypto is, a gamble. I made a small fortune and got out. Im happy with what i made and wont be going back in. I spent a month on the edge of my seat every day when my coin initially jumped 1500% and it actually effected my life. I got lucky and cashed out at the peak just before the crash. I had no idea the crash was coming I just decided that I was so far in the green it was rediculous to get anymore greedy.
I have a mate that got to 2 million out of a $10,000 outlay, he's now at $60,000 but wont cash out. My Wifes uncle and Aunty bought 25000 bitcoin when they were $1 and cashed out at $18000 and bought a huge property in Byron. They are sitting pretty even after paying tax. But out of all these success stories there is more bad ones, like my mate that convinced my other mate to buy into an alt coin at $8.50 and spent 10k, he freaked and sold when his money went down to 1k. It's all a gamble |

Yeah, most of us knew what we were getting ourselves into and prepared to lose, but some were adamant that they couldn't lose.
I remember when a friend first told me about crypto, he was frothing at the mouth of the possibilities. He was spouting all these numbers blah blah blah and lost a LOT of money. He is recovering slowly, but as I said to the young fella "if it sounds too good to be true it usually is" Poor bastard had never heard that expression before but lives by it now. |

The writing has been on the wall for xrp for quite a while. You just has to spend the time looking for the wall and then some reading it. This current bump , IMHO, is temporary. But I have invested only what I could afford to loose. The family farm is not at risk. The estimates of $US300 are quite likely. But that’s two years away. I can wait.

I doubt XRP will ever go higher than $10.00 because of how the current market works with all the short term sell offs that keep on happening, it never gets the chance to gain. Price should go up tonight as the rest of the world wakes up and starts buying XRP.

But if anyone here has thought about investing in Crypto, do it now, and with Ripple, a lot of us missed the boat last time before Christmas and bought when it peaked. Had it not been on the ridiculous signup and money transfer features of the Australian crytpo exchanges most of us wouldn't have missed out. A lot missed out on Ripple and other Cryptos when they were low because of this.

You know what I have been watching this multiple times a day for almost a year now. I programmed my phone so that everytime I unlock it it shows the current xrp price and how much in total $ I am holding. I stress out with the what ifs waaay too much. It is kind of getting depressing.
