Brad Hazzard, (Mr New World order) asking politely to wear masks and please do the right thing.
Reminds me of......

They didn't go far enough so the other states did.

Very short sighted to stop the Sydney to Hobart Race.
All they had to do was make one small change to the race and turn left outside the Heads instead of right.
Going to Hobart the long way they all would have had more than 14 days of isolation when they eventually got there.

Fixed that for you, the prevailing winds this time of year.

EXACTLY my point!

Your post proves that there are a lot of people who 'just don't get it'.

Berejiklian is asking everyone in her state to wear masks, when she has not wearing one herself.

Also, instead of making the wearing of masks mandatory, she seems to think everyone in her state will listen to her if she says please. Twice.

That press conference was a little pathetic really, didn't really answer any questions, apart from chanting and singing requirements.

She seems like she is reluctant to act. At least make it mandatory to wear masks in shopping centres and on public transport until more information is found.

It isn't but highly recommended according to the NSW govt.

I get where he is coming from. It you want to message that it's good to wear a mask, then be seen wearing a mask

I truely hope they get this under control real quick.

I think they were masked up today. Certainly the police officer and another dude standing beside him were both masked up when Gladys was speaking.

Heard some epidemiologist on ABC just now say the next couple of days could see numbers go to 50, then 130 around Christmas day IF people don't follow the "guidelines". Then those infected on Christmas day will be at their peak of infectioness on NYE. It will be really interesting to see if this localised lock down works.

Missing the point? When was the BIG outbreak in WA?...Although McGowan has a good reason for making a lot of noise about Covid, he's got an election coming up shortly

As I said could you provide pics of the other premiers that wore masks at press conference please....other than the three you posted, that seem to attract the most attention.

Just what IS your point. She isn't asking everyone to wear a mask, but recommending they be worn when in high-risk indoor areas.

think youll find this to be the point Gaso

i dont know bout other states but will confirm that so far WA hasnt yet even recommended the use of masks but id think MG would would be seen wearing one himself if he was recommending it as he has shown to do in line of what he has asked of the state
even as far as not turning up to the last premieres conference which even drew the criticism of some here

Maybe you should get on the phone to Gladys Berejiklian and give her a few tips since you think you know everything.

Is the ADF being used for political games again? Vic had to make 3 requests to the feds for an additional 300 ADF to help. When the calls were finally answered, they are offered 50! WTF?

There are thousands of people trying to flee Syd, the road borders are the biggest risks, but they won't help with vehicle checkpoints either. WTF?

"He also requested 200 to 300 ADF troops, but Canberra sources said the Morrison government had not responded to his request on Sunday evening, and it could take two or three days to assess the need.

If it leaks into Vic, there is going to be hell to pay.

Kudos to airlines for cancelling some flights. The last 2 days has seen 3000 people from Sydney enter Melb EACH day.

Minister Hazard going off about 'vaxer/flat-earthers who write down "Mickey Mouse" or "Donald Duck" in the QR registers. Also asking venues to use the NSW Health QR app, because some providers aren't coughing up the data when asked to.

Data valid as at 23:59 GMT December 20th, 2020.

Note: As not all Australian States report at the same time, the data below is based on the previous full day reporting.

44 new cases for Australia and 0 deaths so the CMR is 3.223%. NSW recorded 36 cases, Vic & Queensland recorded 2 each and SA recorded 3.

6 new cases and no deaths for NZ so CMR is 1.181% and active cases 55.

The UK had a new record high 35,928 cases yesterday and 326 deaths.

Just over 196k new cases in the USA yesterday and 2,610 deaths sees CMR drop to 1.789% and active cases at 39.9% with the raw numbers rising and now over 7.2M. Note that the USA is actually minus one day due to time differences.

Other notable points: (it being a weekend again)
Global cases pass 77M with the last 1M in 1 day;
The USA completes 234M, India 161M, Russia 85M, Italy 25M, Denmark 9M, Israel 7M, Greece 3M and Ireland 2M tests.

Only:

South Korea (1,095);
Netherlands (13,032); and
the UK (35,928)

...
recorded new daily highs; those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive days.

In the movie it wasn't so much shortage of food source itself. It was more the supply chain was disrupted. Freights were abandoned. Police were being attacked by people going hungry, so the police went on strike.... so army took over.

Funnily, early on in the movie there was a crazy journalist running his own media broadcast and sprouting a fake cure, and was subsequently arrested. Look what happened to Alex Jones at the beginning of the pandemic

Now there's a surprise. So we spent $10M on the inquiry and $192M on the hotel quarantine program and that's all we get for it. I could have reported the same result 3 months ago (in fact I did) for nix.

Albury Mayor is being interviewed right now on ABC radio. There is currently no border checkpoint on the Albury to Wodonga bypass freeway into Victoria. Traffic is flowing freely. Apparently because there is no "run-off" or "escape" lanes on the Victorian side until well after all the exits for the Victorian police to set up safely.
