true, it was painted around 1990 by the last owner, story goes that it was all ready to paint, open the tin, and oh well, that will do. it will go back the origonal colour with back outs, love looking at your car whingey, looks great.

Smile My 74 xb coupe

This is my present from Greg (SLG697).
I enjoyed driving his way too much at Echuca so he got me own so I would leave his car alone.
Any way it is a long time before it is drivable but the plan is it will be at the next Echuca.

Specs on this one are:
February 1974 xb Falcon 500
302
4 speed manual
suppose to be Red Pepper
Black Interior
Rally Pack with tape stripe

He hasn't touched his yet. We will get mine up too the stage where it needs engine and then I'll get the one from the pig (xa), with a rebuild, and he has a new one to go in his.
I think at that stage we will then strip and repaint his.

This is all depending on the all important money....

Xb now known as "Vi" will be off to my brothers in March for the panel work and paint. It will be Wild Violet. Something a little girly. ha ha ha
Then the painfull process of finding the missing things and alot of the stuff was missing.

So the plan is to have both of them ready for Echuca but time will tell.

You make the wifey get out of the coupe and fill up with petrol Greg? ;)

Is it because all coupes are dogs to fill up with the splash back effect?

I usually have one ear right next to the filler listening for the gurgle. Anyone know how to get petrol out of your ear?

Here's mine, just got it a couple of weeks ago. Not a real GT, as you can tell by front guards, etc. Really a Fairmont GS.

I love it.

Default XA Coupeat Keddleston Hall, Derbyshire UK

Well we took the XA out for a run today which is probably the last time as it is comming up to winter over here.
The day was perfect so I took a few pics of the XA with Keddleston Hall in the background.
Keddleston is only about 6 miles from our house and it is a nice run through the Derbyshire countryside.

Wayne
