Apart from the 19x9" rims with 275 Rears, the XR8 is the ONLY one to get "Performance tuned suspension"....Sounds like R-Spec !

Yeah, Victory Gold.

The other colours were black, white, smoke, vanish, lightning strike, kinetic and emperor.

The Specs just say "Red Single Piston Caliper", yet it looks like a double on one of the pics.

I thought they might at least finally give the last territory the FG interior handles, as crap as they are.

The standard GT and F6 never had Brembo calipers on the rear either. They come with a 4 piston Brembo caliper on the front and a larger single piston PBR caliper on the rear with a vented rotor.

Emperor (available on XR6, XR8) looks like a 'red' to me. Victory Gold is a nice colour, buit I still like classic Winter White

Where did u find XR6 TURBO specs I can't see engine specs anywhere. Also iphone won't let u colours/trims section!! Can anyone confirm any different colors/trims to FG?? Please.
Emperor Red is still there, which is fine by me. As for the engine details, it's found by clicking on 'Exhilaration' at any models' landing page, ie XR6T:

Falcon’s high-tech, renowned engines spoil you for choice and power. There’s the 4.0 litre I6 engine which delivers 195kW of power and 391Nm of torque. If thrilling performance is your thing there’s the awesome 4.0 litre I6 Turbo, with turbocharger and air induction system, giving you 270kW of power and a whopping 533Nm of torque. If that's not enough our LPG fuelled EcoLPi engine delivers outstanding fuelling costs with no compromise in performance, delivering 198kW of power and 409Nm of torque.
Nothing amazing there.

To those trying to justify power figures and what the XR8 may or may not have try looking at that 'exhilaration' its all current model FGII data (the photo sorta give it away).

If you look at kerb weights it state the weight of the XR8 with 'petrol 6 cylinder engine'.
Perhaps its a NA 6 in the XR8 :P

Seriously wait for more info, no power figure has been announced that I can see on any of the models (or gearbox options for that matter)

It's easy enough to miss. It seems these pages weren't really ready to go completely live, as a lot of the text seems to be copied from existing pages (as CortinaGT mentions above ^^). Just finding your way to them is not obvious either, as the front page still has the link to the 'Be the first to know' ultimate Falcon sign up page, rather than a link to these pages. Even browsing the models/colours/trims sections is a lousy experience at the moment.

I'm sure they're ramping it all up in a cold launch/soft launch kind of way, in preparation for something nicer down the line.

I want to, but by the time I get around to it (2016) it will probably be second hand as the only option. I promised myself (and my bank account) that I would hold on to my F6 for ~5 years.

Not me, I think, unless the price is amazeballs. Test drove an SSV Sportswagon fairly recently, and I don't think I can go back to a sedan as my daily driver.

However if my earning capacity takes a sudden upwards trend, then all bets are off

XR8 Weight is interesting, listed as 1861 Kg, however if you press the ref # (15) it says 1861 kg for the Manual, and 1776 kg for the auto !

The Auto is lighter in the XR6T as well. probably has not been proof read ?

Speaking of milkshakes do we know if they have done anything about the milkshake maker (transmission)?

Waiting on seeing an XR6 atleast in person, the pricing of the XR8 & Mustang V8 Pricing before thinking about making any moves.

While the heart wants a Final Falcon, the head is reminding me that the Mustang will likely better in every way off the showroom floor.

The mustang will probably be better at everything except having rear doors and being supercharged.

A manual would be the most appropriate with the XR8 anyway.
So no problems with milkshakes at all.

You just need to learn how to drive it, then you have very smooth gear changes, with no rollover noise either once the right oil has been put in.
