Diesel should be included at Caltex/WW Petrol... Its LPG thats not included....!
But most people may be better off with a BP Mastercard if you dont have a company supplied fuel card... dont you get 5% off with that? Which is 9c a litre off @$1.80... without even having to find dockets? If i had a diesel i would get it from my local BP, as it has its diesel 4-8c per litre cheaper than most other outlets around, and thats before you take off the 5% extra discount. Strange enough, this particular servo, never shows up on the motormouth emails.... |

After all this time, I have finally spotted one crossing the harbour bridge (I catch a train to work, and have nothing better to do than stare out the window as I go across the bridge). It was probably around 8.30am or thereabouts.
It was a Black Zetec/TDi [AT8xxx] hatch - looks like the wheels need a desperate cleaning (they were almost black to match the car). Anyone from this forum?

Saw a really nice red/orange hatch at Yarraville square in Victoria two weeks ago. It had number plates starting with W.

Glad you didn't get booked. :-)
I still chuckle each time I see this thread 'cause I'm amazed that after all this time it's still a rare event to see another Mondeo. One pulled up near me in Lawson (darkish grey) last week and that's the only one I've seen for a couple of weeks. |

I have an Ink Blue Zetec Hatch and live in the Blue Mountains. Had it for about a month now. I'm not the tailgater though (at least I don't think I am).
I'm seeing more Mondeos all the time, some days are better than others. I spend alot of time on the road so keep a look out. Ford is shifting around 500 a month. : |

Just a thought... The menace could be a blue FG Falcon G6E ?
When I first saw one of those front on at the traffic lights facing us, I really thought it was another Mondeo... Then it turned the corner and I saw it side on and realised it was a Falcon. Perhaps it was one of those instead?

Yes, Zippy, every time I see a Mondeo or one of the new Falcons from the front I really have to study it. They are very similar.

I saw a black one yesterday on the Springwood Road to Richmond around 5.15pm
and another black one this arvo on the GWH Lawson around 4.25pm. Both appeared to have been good drivers! (This is to distinquish them from the 'infamous' tailgater I mentioned above. )

Once you paired the phone it's automatically loaded press info and see if your mobile is named on the display if not then make sure your mobile has "Ford Audio" as a paired device I also assume you have Bluetooth turned on in your mobile

I have a HTC touch cruise and I had to change all of my contacts to Mircosoft Office Contacts not the standard phone contacts. This could be your issue as only half of mine loaded then I realised what was wrong.

I saw a Black XR5 (WL?-???) driving out of Sunbury this morning. My son asked me why I didn't wave to the person driving that one - he's a smart ar$e!

My Nokia works fine but my Motorola doesn't. Manual says contact your dealer as they will have a list of compatible phones. They don't. Went direct to Ford Oz, they also have no list. I ended up looking on the Ford UK site and they have a list. What I found out about my Motorola is that the contacts have to be in the phone memory and not the SIM memory. Try transferring all your contacts to the phone from your SIM and see if that works. If not, check out Ford UK. I have the link somewhere if you can't find it. |

Spotted a dark XR5 Mondeo this morning on the Kwinana Freeway - I think it was Warren 77. It was about 6.10am.

About a month ago there was a lovely red Ford mondeo in Sydney and my Sister recently had a car accident and wrote off my mums mitsy magna.. so I convinced her to buy this Ford Mondeo.. I'm not too famliar with them but its was great condition lowkms and around 5grand from the auctions. Just found out recently though is itll cost her a hell of alot more money in insurance because its a lux import? is this correct and are there any cheap insurance companies that will take her on... Anyways they are southside of sydney...???

Seen the ads quite a few times. Still pretty lame though. I've noticed that they've run 2 page ads in at least the last 2 editions of New Scientist stating that Blue Tooth now comes standard. Anyone else heard anything on this?
I guess they decided they might as well bring em all in with it as they probably had a hard time shifting those without. |
