I am not saying who this is, all I am saying is that I had no idea this was taken until I got home Sunday night. I had stern words with the filmer.

It is a bit of a laugh, but beware there is a bit of inappropriate language in the clip, but funny just the same.

I reckoned you would have been doing around 185 km/h, as I estimated that I was doing around 180 km/h. My estimate was based on how fast I was going at the 3rd/4th gear change. I have since found another 50 ftlb, so perhaps I will be able to keep up next time withou drafting. :eclipsee_

I see that you did the Musclecar Challenge in QLD. Did it cost a pretty penny to tow it there and back?

ooooh yeah but it was worth it
Towed the Xr up on mates tandem behind his new AWD 6spd Auto Territory ,the Terri towed awsome .Went up for 2 weeks 3 days of racing then up to the Sunshine coast for a week and took the Boys through the The Bowden Family Collection of Cars ,then a night on the goldie and slowly made our way home via Port Macquarie and then a night in Canberra and then home .Racing all fuels (racecar and tow car)Accom,meals and all partying and spending approx $5,000 not much is it????

We think it might be out a bit, but we are not sure.

As the video wasn't real clear, I took a look at an XD tacho. It appears that you were shifting at 4500rpm. What diff ratio, gear box and tyres were you running?

Bw -xb - 4.1/4.9-5.8
1 - 2.82 - 3.06 - 2.46
2 - 1.84 - 1.84 - 1.78
3 - 1.32 - 1.32 - 1.27
4 - 1.00 - 1.00 - 1.00

The ratios for the single rail in 4.1 & 4.9 engines is the most common so I will assume that is what you have.

The tyre size that you mentioned doesn't sound right. Below are some more common sizes
205/60R14 ---> 23.7" diameter
205/70R14 ---> 25.3" diameter
205/75R14 ---> 26.1" diameter

I assume you were in third gear? What is the actual tyre size?

No sorry the tyre size is wrong, I will have to re-check, but it does grab 4th gear just before the 1st (3) brake marker on the straight. we were being gentle on the revs because of the weather, normally 5000.
