I would def buy a bomber or other funky style.
I like the design that EFFalcon mentioned:

As you might know, I arrange all of the VSS clothing.

I initially intended on getting Jackets made, but a couple of months ago I changed my mind and have arranged hoodies, they'll be available at the next cruise.

If either Shaun or John are interested, you can contact me and I can give you some prices on different jackets/shirts.

I am able to get anything from aus spirit, bizwear, johnny bobbin, etc etc through work.

i reckon you should go have a look at the jackets and go from there, maybe see if you can get one as a sample and show around and see what everyone thinks.
john and shaun need to hurry up and get this under way before winter has gone and nothing is done :

Bomber jacket looks more presentable than a hoodie. It can be worn anywhere and still look good.

There is no reason you cant offer all of the above, there is no minimum order on quantities of garments, more often then not theres only minimums on the actual printing costs.

I've sent John a PM with a whole bunch of details in regards to jackets, hoodies, printing, embroidery etc.

Go all of the above. Id probably buy a few hoodies, in winter I pretty much live in them, lol! Gives a bit more choice and the diehards will most stuff.
Would stubby holders be classed as winter? lol..

the place that currently does our Shirts have quoted us $95 for the bare jacket.
+ the costs of embroidery, in this case a single logo on the breast would bring the jacket to a total of $106.
If we want another Logo on it (the large one accross the back) it is about another $25 due to its size (subject to confirmation) + the setup fee for another logo to be embroided.
If we want just text on the back then its $11 ontop, so total is $117

So basically we're lookin at about $105 to $130 for the 'Hummer' Jackets.
the Bomber jackets are fairly similarly priced.
Hoodies are considerably cheaper, but would be screen printed.

the place in NSW corporate.com.au state $65ish per jacket, plus all the embroidery stuff.
i'll give them a call tomorrow as i'm planning on going to sydney in a months time.
might be able to get the order in by then, and pickup when i'm in sydney.
hopefully at reduced cost, depends on volume of jackets.

Ok, for anyone interested in Jackets, now is the time to speak up.

The plan is:
Corporate CLothing in NSW have the Hummer Style Jacket for $65 + embroidery etc.
they have the Bomber Jacket with leather sleaves for $73 + embroidery etc.
Plan is to get the jackets while i'm in NSW at the start of June.
bring them back here and get our local suppliers to do the embroidery.

I need to know quantities of each jacket so i can get an order going and move forward with this.
I beleive they don't have the Red Hummer Jackets available so only the other colours will be an option.

I will be taking deposits if its going ahead as i'm going to have to put my own money down for these & there are minimum orders.

Lets get the numbers up so we can go ahead, future orders won't be as cheap as this so if you want one get in now.

id be in for a hoody at reasonable price.
for our year 12 jumpers we managed black hoodies with zips and large screen printing on it and individual names embroided in large text for i think it was either $50 or $80 i cant remember.
that was an order of nearly 100 i think but still. with less screen printing and not having inidividual names it would get down to a decent price.

i can tell you now for a black hoodie with zip+ an emborided logo on front and larger something on the back embroided it could be done for $50 at a very rough estimate.

I think so but it comes down to how the club will look, either car ethusiests (jackets) or homies (hoody).

IMO the club would be better presented in bomber jackets.

Hoodies won't be organised yet as they can be done cheaper from pretty much anyway.
concentrating on jackets.

Not everyone will wear a jacket 24/7.
A hoody can be worn anywhere anytime.
