Thanks I'll check it out
I have dynolicious on the iPhone and did some testing at heathcote and when the rollout was set up correctly the time was within 0.1 of the timeslip.... Probably more accurate than the heathcote track timers, my awd magna ran 114mph the once LOL try 96mph haha |

seriously though, i have read the reviews for it previously, and while the manufacturer has 'claims' to support its accuracy, i wouldn't be putting money on it. The GPS in my iPhone and every iphone i've ever used, is absolutely awful. Even in full clear blue days it says we're driving through housing estates while we're on the south eastern fwy. It jumps, stops, darts etc. Anyway i think you'll find that ap uses the accelerometer rather than the GPS.

I know there are skeptics out there but until you've actually trialled the app, you can't know for sure... i think you'd be surprised. I was extremely skeptical of it, but the results proved to me otherwise. The runs in my Ralliart showed me that this app, calibrated correctly produces very accurate results. The theory was simple really, If i launched well, and changed gears correctly, then i achieved a decent time. There were a couple where i got the gear change a little late and had the front end bumping away on launch hence the slower times. But, that can be experienced in any car. Just sharing my experience with you all that's all. Opinions on the app is a digression altogether.

all while i was sitting on 97km/h (cruise control) on eastlink LOL if i didnt pay so much for it i'd have thrown it out the window.. i have tested my iphone app against the gtech pro rr i have, and its accurate and repeatable, but im going to look into using the xcal 3 to log the acceleration providing i dont wheelspin too much it should be even better... just gotta find me a windows computer, unless i can boot windows on my mac and run live link like that, but i'd rather not go installing viruses on my machine |

I recon my stock 98' XH2 auto ute did it in the 6's or less, that was a freak vehicle, ask the dude in the 911 and HSV with the "WTF" look on there faces, kept them very very honest.
My 08' BF11 does 100kmh in 6 minutes, its very very lethargic, the gearbox is total rubbish, way overgeared in 1st [stuggles to bag up the tyres] and way undergeared in 4th, wont plonk into 4th till 75kmh, worst thing in the whole vehicle, where did FoA find these gearboxes? My old EB did it in around 7.5 seconds I think.
And my current best attempt in the Beemer saw 6.3 to 100, not bad for a P-plater car, handles very well too |

My Evo would do 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds. 80-120km/h in 2.1 seconds. 0-160km/h in about 8 seconds.
My 380 does 0-100km/h in 7 seconds dead. Never done the quarter mile or any other thing with it. |
