If the Aus dollar keeps falling who knows what will happen
Ford was going to build Focus here and that got scuttled Economists reckon the dollar should be around .75 cents what would that do to import plans? The auto industry has massive lead in times some ford Aus would have some idea now what is available for sale in 2016 They would know what the next Explorer,Edge,Flex are going to deliver lets just hope whatever comes out has some Aus engineering input. But whatever comes out it will NOT be Aussie built so I will be looking at everything else, but at the moment nothing comes close to the Terri. Remember the Wheels test many years ago it didn't rate it better than a X5 for nothing |

Could the next Territory be based on T6? Like say the Everest has live axle, while Territory has a multi-link IRS, more refined diesel and Ecoboost options. It would be cheaper than adapting new machinery to build Explorer in RHD wouldn't you think?

crazy dazz, i'm with you the Falcon has been an outstanding success. The rural areas relied on the Falcons to handle crap roads we pay the last cent in car ownership related taxes and get bullock tracks called roads. The saying goes australia was built on the sheeps back ...little did they know it was the Falcon that carried rural australia R.I.P Falcon
