REAL TIME DAMAGE?!?! Finally Gran Turismo can live up to it's name instead of 'the real bumper car simulator'.

This has had beyond ridiculous development time, it better be the best damn racing simulator ever made. Really makes me want to get a 3D TV.

Yes it is NA but I have also heard that it is a simultaneous world wide release, so expect it to be November sometime (maybe not on the actual 2nd).

Yep, have to agree there. This game is one of the main reasons I grabbed the PS3.

it'd be even better if he had a black curtain around it to hide the real horizon. it'd work better to trick the brain that it's G-force and not gravity. Since we sense motion with our inner ears, we can't tell the difference between tilting and accelerating without a visual cue.

i'm playing Shift again. enjoying it more than when i first bought it. doing the Nordschief track is the best aspect of that game.

It's the only track I race on, but Shift still has too many bugs....but then that's what usually happens with console ports.

I've taken a stock GT500 over 280 clicks on the main straight, with my own set of ratios of course, not the standard ratios which are way off by the way.

Dont know if anyone has noticed but on a certain track (name escapes me) i have a Works R35 GTR and the front will just lift off the ground at full speed casuing me to loose control. Surely its not the track making this happen?

I remember something similar with a V8SC game a few years back at oran park the car would just flip on impact with the ripple strip, every lap you could look at the car trailing you and it would flip for no reason. Funny but it got annoying sometimes, same with Shift

Video: GT5 around the Top Gear test track

We'd heard that Polyphony had the rights to in-game representations of the Top Gear test track, and here we have the evidence in moving images. In the next installment of Gran Turismo 5, said to be let loose in November in 3D (we'll wait while you grab that grain of salt), you'll be able to do everything the Stig can do, with all the cars in which he does it. Except, most likely, you won't go anywhere near as fast. Follow the jump for the video, and get those 3D goggles ordered already! Thanks to David for the tip

The thought of GT5 has laid dormant I my head because of all the delays etc but after seeing some recent pictures I am getting excited again! I will have to buy a PS3 to put next to the 360 just because of this game, I bet I won't be the only one! I don't think there is any use putting up a car list because it is all speculation at the moment! I am really hoping there will be some old Australian cars in it, the popular Falcon Ford/Tickford/FTE/FPV line-up would be awesome!! XK,XY,XC,XD,ED,EL,AU-T3,BF,FG

Its still 4 months away but I put my pre-order payment down at EB Games today.
The guy at EB told me there is probably going to be a collectors edition that comes with a die cast model car, but he didn't know how much it was going to cost. I should put a pre-order on one of those too, its fully refundable if it turns out that its too expensive.
