There are no franchises the company is owned by 3 very rich people in Sydney, one is the ex CEO of the NRL.
They have their fingers in brewing, mining, retail food etc...
The factory stores such as Fountain Gate were losing money in the lull of sales we had the last 6-8 months but sales have picked up again.
You'll find that all new stores are 'fresh shops' as in counter sales (no production) as these stores have little overheads so they are goldmines!
And last but not least I get to eat them for free ALL DAY!!!!

My local supermarket has Ben n Jerry's, but instead of having it in the ice cream section it's hidden away amongst the spring rolls sausage rolls and other non ice cream hot foods.

But it's just ice cream, nothing special IMO.

Really only available at 7 Eleven now, still way over priced and not really nice (Except for the glaze done in microwave for 4 seconds) A fad that disappeared as quick as it started.

They are a very tasty doughnut, I have regular cravings for them.

You find them at 7-Eleven stores for $3 each, except for the plain ones which were a little cheaper last I checked. They are very rich in flavour compared to other doughnuts, so eating too much can't be very good for you.

(for the record - we don't have them in QLD - which is why it's a bit of a big thing for travellers - I wouldn't be buying them at the airport if we could get them here. we have an imitation place called dreamy donuts or something - but they're worse than donut king)

I remember when Penrith opened. There was a line out to the car park. Guys came around with free doughnuts to keep you waiting so you didn't ark up. So we got a coffee from Meccas and ate on the line for free and when we had our fill, we left lol cheapest Krispy Kreme I ever had!

Not just the Gold Coast. They are sold in all 7/Elevens in the greater Brisbane area since 2012. There are even Krispy Kreme stores, like in highway servos.

Pfft, the people of Adelaide are far too sharp to find refuge in an overpriced donut, it wont last.
Why would anyone consider a KK donut when our home grown Balfours donuts are cheaper and arguably better.

FUIC and a Balfour's chocolate donut is where its at!

Adelaide FTW..NOT a Penal Colony since 1836!

Bent deserves an award 1st. We are South Australians and very proud of it. We dont have KK and proud of it.... although I know nutcases who fly to Melb for their KK and fly home again. Last trip I had coming from Melb big ugly fat a##ed bogan female (I think) had 6 dozen sitting in seat between us... best part was an air pocket we hit and sent them all onto the floor. After cabin crew tried cleaning up mess and tirading passenger I asked if the pilot could do a loop and find same air pocket, very glad air crew moved my seating.

The rest of the country has already come to that conclusion years ago as most stores have shut down. Guess Adelaide is a bit slow in learning that lesson too.

Can't beat a choccy donut though.

Then as it is my turn I order 6 donuts and a regular flat white, I keep shuffling along and the chick that served me asks for like $15 something.....WTF did I just order I think to myself....so I confirm that I ordered 6 donuts and a flat white not 16 donuts....."yes, only six sir!"....anyway I pay and move on :

So I notice that they are charging like $2.20 for one friggen donut and there are people buying like 24 at a time! :

The donuts are not bad but are all these peole insane...now I'm no cheapie I like to eat out, I only buy the best for my car, my tools are top of the line....my clothes are usually a decent brand...but Jesus, Mary and Joseph 15 buck for 6 donuts is seriously wrong!

They must be making a killing.....has anyone actualy gone back a second time? Or is it just me, am I a tight in my old age?
You can get 24 for $29 in a sampler hence people buying 2 packs over just the 1, but no one should be eating that gluten//dairy/soy/sugar crap anyway consider the ridiculous pricing a good thing.

But people still buy their homeware from Harvey Norman so anything is possible unfortunately.
