If you're the sort of person who will, "for fun" go and vandalise a cemetery (or, for example, spit on a bus driver), then you and your friends and family aren't the sort of people blessed with a conscience that tells you this is the wrong thing to do...they'll see the news items and won't be stricken with remorse...they'll be sitting around high-fiving their stupid friends and saying "That was us! Look, we're famous! Hahahah!".

No idea how you fix this sort of divide in the community...

Govt needs to stop encouraging the poor and dumb to breed. Cap any child payments to two children of the same father would be a start. Bring in work for the dole.

What's the bet that their legal aid lawyer which we pay for will argue that they have been abused or beaten by their former partners / boy friends which has led them to depression and alcohol & drug abuse so they are the real victims not the bus driver. And then the soft **** magistrate lets them off

If those two ferals had faced a strong and immediate barrage of abuse right back at them and maybe been given a good hard physical shove off the bus with solid force behind it, then they would have understood...for a moment...that what they were doing was wrong. As it is they'll get let off lightly and laugh as they leave court, surrounded by their equally feral supporters. Show them weakness or hesitate and they'll only go in harder, which is what we saw in the video.

That's the way the world works...the wolves will prey on the sheep, unless the sheep accept the reality that they need to employ a few wolves of their own to bite back...hard.

Unfortunately you are right with these type of inbreed scum. The only problem is, if that bus driver did so force he'd loose his job. As like my work, there would be strict policies about confrontation with the public.

unfortunately 90% of mentally ill patients are their own worst enemies, they refuse to go to doctors, will not take medication on an ongoing basis and simply let different "addictions" such as drugs and alcohol run rampant, in fact they are encouraged to continue, with payments and services unchecked while their kids starve and live in disgusting poverty.

my wife deals with the mentally ill, disabled and elderly in our population on a daily basis, we see it all the time, so I have a little "internal" knowledge on mental illness........

this one is not a "mental" problem simply a parent out of control with little knowledge of how to behave as a decent "adult", sad part is her daughter is growing up thinking this is how one deals with a situation where they are not receiving that which they want.

I call it the "spoilt kid syndrome"......tell a fool to stop doing burnout's or turn the music down.......the result is the same.

this doesn't only "look" like a "bad" it is a "bad".....mum and daughter not getting their own way, pure and simple.

there has to be a reaction for every action, what the reaction would be in this case I wouldn't have a clue but she needs to learn respect for others, maybe a 12 month stint in the bus drivers cafeteria, facing this lovely, kind soul of a man every day and seeing the error of her ways.

Yes well...unfortunately we've bred a generation with a large proportion of kids who have been told everyone is a winner, there are no losers, everyone gets a prize, and don't let anyone tell you you can't do something, you're all capable of greatness no matter how feral you are...that just makes you an individual! Who are carefully informed of all their rights but never told of their responsibilities for living in a civilized society with everyone else.

No...it doesn't work like that in the real world outside school. I saw the beginnings of it when our last kid was finishing school...precious little darlings who could do no wrong, who were allowed to act and do as they wish for fear of stifling their individuality. My brother took early retirement and left teaching because of it...a kid would be sent home for serious misbehavior, and all of a sudden the next day you're facing two very angry parents who are mad that you've tried to limit their precious babies creativity or crush their spirit by trying to make them conform. Crap like that.

As the old old saying goes: if you think your parents and teachers were hard on you, wait until you have a boss...
Of course a lot of these young "individuals" will probably never have a boss...

My other half was a secondary school teacher for 12 years. She gave it away 11 years ago for same reasons that your brother did.

There’s also another well used phrase from teachers to describe these little turds…

Put them with the jail group who go out and do stuff around the community under watch of some guards, if they refuse community service they can spend some time in her majesty's hotel.

I actually met a magistrate outside of court, who was helping me and a few other volunteers for the day, she seemed like a nice down to earth person.

They can't all be out of touch with reality.

Yes...apparently the percentage of people who never actually do ANY of their court ordered community service is staggeringly high, and it's never really enforced anyway.

My brothers best mate drives buses in SE QLD. Greg is a hell of a nice bloke. The crap he has to deal with from the public is unbelievable - not as bad as was shown in the video. People trying to sneak on the bus without tagging their "Go Card" etc. He challenges them and cops abuse for it, then there's the one's that say they haven't got any money and could they please get a ride. Fortunately Greg is 6'6" and 140kg and can handle himself - he won't take any **** from anyone. Calm, peaceful and gentle giant he is but has had enough of everything. He's manhandled and thrown quite a few off his bus. Gone on stress leave a few times. He was on a good wage working full time but now only works 4 days a week.

Bad enough driving a 16 tonne bus through city traffic all day, let alone putting up with crap from the general public.

Not so, in every state and territory in Australia you are allowed to prevent yourself from being assaulted and you can also prevent someone else from being assaulted by using force yourself BUT the force used has to be proportionate and not excessive to the force being received.
