Hehe.. we're debating whether he's got rotty, or shepherd in the dna mix... either way, he looks great, he's inquisitive, he likes playing soccer... he'll be great!!

I've got some photos (somewhere) , of when my shepherd had 6 pups, and I drove them 1200 k's in the XY so I could sell them (and separate the bloodline!).

Geez, Ian, he looks small next to the stubbie, but with the water bottle between his legs, he looks like he's been workin' out!

She's a little stormer She is as muscular as all hell now... been sprinting regularly at the local park after other (bigger) dogs.

It's a bit of an optical illusion, with the water bottle, that was January this year, the beer bottle was about 6 weeks ago.

She's at about full adult weight now - 11.5 months old and 10.8kg.

We get our second in about 4 or so weeks! :

Just a warning this dog is rather vicious.

This is my 11yrold dog 'Bart'. Pedigree Yorkshire Terrier. All 1.7kg of him.

I cant find a picture of his old companion "Lulu" who passed away 6yrs ago, she was even smaller, tipping the scales at 1.2kg at 9yrs of age.

She's a French Bulldog - but going how to takes on the big dogs at the park she's part shepard, and looks part wombat : :

Wow, everyone's got dogs.

I have 1 puss, she was stray, scared as hell, now, can't get rid of the thing.

Also have 4 birds. 1 Cockatiel, 1 Monk Parrot, 1 Cockatoo and 1 King Parrot.

Got pics, but they're on the PC at home...

We have a little Jack Russel/Maltese called "Abby", she is the most hypo dog I have ever seen but we love her to death.

The pic of the puppy is Abby the day we brought her home from the pet shop at 6weeks old.

The other pic is Abby all grown up and my mum's pure bred Staffy "Diesel" who was tragically hit by a car late last year and died as a result of his injuries, he wasn't even a year old :(

On a better note, we are picking up a Daschund puppy on Tuesday, so I take some snaps when we get her.

Hes our latest additions ...... 8 of them :P

Born yesterday ..........

Both Mum & puppies are all doing well .........

This is the last litter of Cooper (Daddy Dawg) so the arrival is a very special occasion here ;)

All of them have tails which suprises me ..... Cooper was a Stumpy tail & the other girls always have at least 2 stumpies ...... although this girl gives us Blues as well as Reds ..... so I supose thats a good payoff for the lack of stumpies

My parents did have Great danes for show, from the morehurst line.
I would attack you to if you would keep taking food out of my mouth! I have been a Professional Dog Trainer/Instructor for 10 years now and I also own Rotties. I am also female which to the unknowledgeable makes it harder to own them and many other breeds of dog, especially if the dogs are male! Did you know that an entire male lab is harder to control than most of the so called dangerous breeds? The only time I and many other trainers I have spoken to have come up against the problem you had with your dog was due to the fact that you do not understand how to respectfly and strongly keep yourself as the dominant pack member and your dog was challenging you for dominance. If you had handed your dog over to some one who knew what they were doing and understood how dogs think, and can relate that into human terms you would not have had to needlessly destroy a life. People need to realise that dogs can not think in terms of family like we do, they still think in terms of the pack and your Rottie being a male saw a weakness in you and challenged you for the alpha male position. Just cause your dog was well trained does not mean you can keep the alpha male postion. Did you always eat before your dog? Did you always make sure you went through doors/gates first??These are just a few of the things you need to do to stay alpha male if you own any male dog. Even with training you still have a few basic rules to follow to stay ontop if you don't know these you should not own a dominant breed of dog!!!

That is so true. i have a Tibetian spaniel, and he knows who is the top dog, me. I go through the doors first, and its actually quite cute its almost a gentleman thing. The beagle on the other hand who is female is so thick headed sometimes she doesnt realise that bj is the second in charge. she does intentially challenge his authority she just tends to get in his way. although i have noticed lately that she will come inbetween dayton and bj when bj is growling at him , ( he will not bite dayton by the way just growls at him to let him know that dayton is annoying him, or should i say tortuing.). she knows the kids are hers to look after and that any major problems run to bj. so yes taking the food continuously is not a good thing i most certainly wouldnt do it. i think it actually sounds cruel. but then again i am a push over when it comes to animals.
