The only people they see on the Holden sites is each other. I hope that makes more sense. ROFL. To the post below, I found the edit button. Bit late now but. I have a new toy.

Is it me or is just about on every page in the pub a Holden thread gets discussed to some extent?

Yes I am aware that you guys love your Fords and thats cool with me, what I dont take too kindly is getting insulted because I have strong opinions about Holdens and everytime I try to say something in a thread with Holden bashing involved without blowing my top I get automatically flamed because I happen to have a Holden myself.

Put low to mid quality tyres on a bog standard VT and watch the bastard squirm... I borrowed my old man's VT for a trip to Coolangatta as I didn't want to waste my fuel (was doing a job for him). Anyway the damn thing was scary, even at low acceleration the damn thing wanted to slide all over the place. My Falcon was only dangerous in the wet when it had really low quality tyres (that it came with), now with GIII tyres its bloody good! The VT scares me in the wet, what a ИИИИ rear end suspension setup.

Ultimatley this is a ford site with a few Holden Visitor's. As the name suggests "Ford Forums" you are going to see such things as people posting stuff about other cars and if it's a bent holden, then it's a free lunch. If you don't like it, or try to defend the all mightless holden, then you are really in the wrong place. If that was a Ford in the picture and this was LS1.com, then I'm sure they would be having a field day. I've visited LS1.com.au and seen some of the comments made about fords. When it bothers me, I leave and I don't go back. It is time you and the other holden members of this forum built a bridge.

This thread really didn't start out as a bagging of the other brand. A few pics were posted about an accident. I'm sure if it was a ford, the only difference would be is that some of us would be more sympathetic. As its a holden, then really, it serves himself right. So to you

i bet you everyone in the neighbourhood blames the corner and doesn't have much to say about the incident, but if it were a P plater you wouldn't hear the end of it. you know, "bloody young hoons can't control the powerfull cars, they get their licences too easy they should have to do more tests". is what the older people would say

That's not exactly what I meant. However it seems that the only people complaining about the V6's are ford fans and motoring journalists. Most people I know who own / have owned one are happy and have no issues with them.

Yes, I am a Holden fan predominantly, but I come here open mindedly and happen to have a respect/interest in Fords also. I don't come here to bag Fords nor do I bag Fords on Holden sites. I know this is a Ford site, and it is generally good, but it would be so much better without some of the childish, boganish, narrow minded excuses for posts / threads which appear here quite often. They spoil an otherwise good forum.

I dont mind some Holden bashing, but when I get insulted like I have been for no reason lately it does get on my nerves. (E.g the AU thread yesterday)

I dont expect anyone on here to fall head over heels for Holdens, but what has beeing annoying me is the amount of people who say to me "Why are you still here for? or why did you even bother signing up?"

Trust me if I wanted to leave I would've left along time ago, but I generally do like the "Mature discussion" that goes on here, thats why I stick around.

all i have against holdens is every time fords start winning in the power side of things they just import a motor from somewhere else.

XF MPI 5 speed flogged VB-VK's so holden imports a turbo jap motor

EA s-pack comes out as good as VL-T so holden import V6
