KK glazed donuts were the best, but yes, you needed to mortgage the house to buy a dozen

Oooh. 5 years! Thanks for mining another "Danny" thread.

As for Krispy Kreme, they came, I tried, Liked, forgot about it, didnt really have many more after that, now they're gone.

End.

It isn't as if their Donuts are all that good anyway. I'd much rather a fresh Donut King Cinnamon Donut any day of the week.

yes the standard of DK's donuts has risen the bar since the inception of KK to Aus. I haven't seen any 'improvements' per sey on KK's donuts other than a few new flavors. What were they a dozen for glazed? Wasnt it $22 for a dozen or was it more?

Having lived 500m away from the Fountain Gate store since before they opened, I suppose I should get over there one day and give 'em a try

Does 7/11 or was it Food Plus in Melb still sell the pinapple donuts? Not iced, just plain donuts, pineapple flavoured. Mmmmm, now they were good.

I didn't see what was so good about KKDonuts. I tried it once in Erina, a plain one and some apple cake one. The plain one was pretty seedy tbh. I might as well have just bought a 2Kg bag of sugar for the same price. The apple one was pretty nice, but didn't seem 'more addictive than Heroin' as they were described 5 yeas ago.
I havn't been to Donut King, or have much experience with donut eating, but wasn't impressed.
