Driven though 'The Shire' lately...no coincidence its called the shire when it has the oldest national park in Oz in it...

Think I saw a goat tied up somewhere a while ago...hey, I'm from the REAL country myself, I know a good suburb when I see (or live in) one!!!!

lol i know all that. was just poking fun lol.. hehehehe REAL contry is Broken HIll. ImO.

would you say the ppl arent as relaxed and easy going as it was originally. i thnk many places in the "CITY" area are becoming to overcrowded and too domestic. acreage is always good.

"the shire" is alright. not a fan of national parks though.
"The Shire" apparently has a bad rep from all the "surfies". awe well just another piece of Australian History to enjoy.

and for anyone that is gonna complain about how i didnt know ware it is at the start. i looked it up and read the website!!!!!. so i know enough about it.

Its all good

Broken Hill isn't in the bush, thats out in the sticks :

Acreage is definitely good, but then you're soo far away from everything!! I don't mind the bad rep "The Shire" has, I don't drive a station wagon/4wd with roof racks (for the surf board) so I don't attract much (unwanted) attention.

Anyway, back to LED's and soldering irons... :

Also a few weeks ago on Saturday night I was going through the main street of Cronulla looking for a parking spot with my GF, stereo up to around 20 with the sub, radio tuned on 96.1. Had a ******** who ran out on the road and sort of blocked me. I slowed down from the 20kmh I was doing and he motioned me past. As I went to pass him he swung a punch towards the closed drivers window. I swerved left and booted it past hime before he could try it again. Drunk f**ker.

I fixed up the LCD display so there aren't any light "hotspots" on the display.

How I drove to work today (cept with the guages temporarily in place)

If anything more weight over the front wheels will help the bugger get off the line!

Thats looks brilliant!!! I really don't know why they didnt come like this stock. Virtually no manufactuerers use the boring green nowdays..

Also have any solutions for the really poor back seats lighting.. It looks seriously flawed and imbarrasing at night. Another 3 cents that ford CBF spending

Just a heads up, I finally had 4 hours spare tonight and armed with a fancy new soldering iron, finished the stereo. My full time job has been fairly hectic, so I hadn't had the chance to do anything else until tonight.

2 words sum it up: Effin Awesome.

Keep an eye on this thread I'll post pics on Friday.

Phone cam does not do it justice, probably coz it picks up the UV from the blue LEDs. Anyone thats seen this on my car can tell you its a dark blue colour. The backlight on the display looks more like this, but with black LCD characters: http://www.superdroidrobots.com/images/LCD-011-000.jpg

Freakin awesome.
