The list for this year

Starting this weekend with trying to resurect negelected paint. Going over it with the quick clay then a cut & polish and see how she comes up. May look at a respray some time this year.
New headlights and grille
New cowl panels
New windsreen
New rear window
New tint on all other windows
Fix rear bearing
Fix VCT unit oil leak
Get 2 wheels rerolled and all 4 polished.
Get the side bolster on drivers seat retrimmed.

Pretty much covers it for now.

Fix exhaust
Darker tint on
Sunroof (but not really likely this year)
Find rims I like, and that suit the lane... Not easy
Investigate Bodykits options

Probably a good time as any to provide an update (for those that aren't watching my build thread):

- Car was registered in mid Jan
- Car has been driven plenty, although it's my weekender I've clocked up 12k on it so far
- Kenne Bell purchased and will be fitted later on this year
- Diff gears will be fitted after above point

Hmmm... Does anyone know where I could get a DECENT bit of boot liner? I've tried wreckers (haven't been to all around adelaide yet but a decent few) and haven't found any worth taking... When I got my car it had none. Which obviously I knew about, but I'm starting to want some now xD

I achieved something - got new tyres. They are AusTyre Sport 19s.

Took a gamble with a brand I was unfamiliar with. Most people said they have a bit of noise (true). I got them from a shop a month before The Tyre Factory started pushing them, so that made me feel a bit better. I think they hold fairly well for a cheap tyre.

Well I got it in March and the only mod I am doing as such will be the Koni Yellows that will go in over the next couple of weeks.

Otherwise just keep it in top order and enjoy...maybe try and find a way to get more than 300kms out of the tank? Unfortunately 95% city driving does that I guess.

Ive got a small list of interior things, bulbs, steering wheel retrim etc..nothing major.

UK what did you end up getting?

I need to get around to replacing my (i think its called) map light?
Also keen to clean out the gutter rash on my rims, hopefully won't need any bog!
At the moment I wanna get the sensible stuff out of the way before I do the fun stuff.

And Uncle Ken, what is the point of the backfire valve? I've seen that how-to in the tech sub section but haven't actually worked out what its for. And a google search hasn't been useful lol!

With my dual fuel set up in my old AU, if you backfire on LPG it tends to blow off or apart your air box. So the popper valve on the box is designed to release the backfire without destroying your air box. Worked for me

Get the car to an upholsterer to fix the usual driver's seat worn patch on the backrest frame and falling headlining. Probably get both front seats retrimmed, new foam fitted and bolstered a bit more on the sides.

Let's see how long that lasts...
Well the first paragraph is largely ticked off... see new sig. Joe and the boys did a fantastic job. Still have to get the upholstery done, but have slotted in a nice shiny new head unit that does everything except DAB.

Should probably upload a thread of my new au for my list!
Hopefully for the end of 2013 my AU3 Forte will have the following:
2.5 Exhaust and Extractors
Wide mouth intake
Trans service
ba xr8 wheels painted gloss black and new tyres
guards rolled
lowerd on kings
stainless straight angle dual tips
interior chrome handles
whiteline front sway bar
and Bluetooth kit for headunit and steering wheel controls! that should just about complete my falcon to my standards!
