I guess after that would have been dad's 911 Carrera, it was red so it went faster than other Porches. :P My Aunties MR2, I don't know what the top speed in it was, I never pushed it too hard, but damn that was a fast and fun little car to drive. Damn my family for being a bunch of car lovers, I never stood a chance with one side being English and the other being German.

Lets see, the fastest car I’ve ever driven would be my old LC Torana. It had a wild 1300cc 4cyl engine that produced around 7500 hp and was good for about 320 kph in fourth gear. I can still remember the day I hosed an F40 Farrari because he just didn’t have the grunt to keep up. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
Cheers, Danny

For saftey? As far as I know, there's a mandate in Japan for all locally produced cars to be limited to 180km/h.

Yer and you can remove the safety aswell. Im pretty sure all these imports have been limited to 180km/h from the factory and just get it removed later on.

I can't say I've driven anything anywhere near as fast as some of you have.
In fact, I could use my fingers to count up all the cars I've ever driven, and I doubt I'd run out of fingers to count with, LOL! But, out of all the cars I have driven, the fastest so far would be my car - only a manual 2L Mk II Escort, but I know it's capable of more then 180km/h when it's taken on a private road... To put it in perspective (yes, I know some people are probably already laughing, haha), other cars I've driven were an auto V8 EF Fairmont (I was not impressed with that, my Escort easily went harder, but maybe this one was just in need of some TLC), an auto EB GLi (which goes harder then the V8 EF Fairmont), and well, nothing else really worth mentioning. If anybody offers me a drive in a faster car, I'm not going to say no... :hihi: (Can't blame me for trying)

Fastest, high 8 second Falcon ute (drag car)
Have also driven the new US GT (GT40) don't know the speed on that one, but I only went slow. Ummm.. lots of others that are fast too, but once again, I only drove them slowly. Have been taken for a fang in the Hillier Arrow coupe also, cool car! |
