i saw a xr8 on thursday in mitchelton, brisbane,

it said nova ford on the side, promotional car?

anyway, it had 5 guys in it and i pulled up next to it and i was having a perve and the bloke in the back seat was smiling like a idiot. lol.

it looked hot in white! everyone in the area was gazing at it from their cars and on the footpath.

you can tell the general public are VERY interested.

Spotted my first FG X this arvo on Main North rd near Bunnings at Parafield . it was a white base model looked quite good from front and rear.

Does the base model have drl? as this one had none showing.

And they had a xr6 turbo and a xr6 ute. The dealer took my number to call me with prices for a g6et or a test drive in the xr8 (which wasn't sold yet) or a xr6t test drive. That was almost 2 months ago and still havn't heard from him.

It really seems like they couldn't give 2 shts about selling them. Very disapointed in the guys attitude also.

if you are driving around Moorooka pop into Motorama Ford - they have a black XR8 on display inside the showroom. The sales team are engaging (and no I don't work for Motorama Ford or any other car company) even if you are just popping in to have a look. I don't know if they will allow the XR 8 to be test driven.

cheers, Brent

Spotted a Victory Gold XR8 driving away from servo at O'Halloran Hill today, only one I've seen on the road apart from mine.

They sure do stick out. Saw a G6E (I think) and a base ute around Dural, Sydney. Gotta say they look impressive to me. Haven't owned one since my AU XR8 which I am currently "refurbishing" as it has been in the paddock for a couple of years. Will never sell that.

My new car policy exists only for my wife as she is in sales and hire purchase makes it worthwhile, but I have to say the latest incarnation is tempting me to break my rule if I can get a decent trade in for my current drive.

I've seen 3 so far in Sydney, all XRs. Two of them on the Northern Beaches (I didn't get a chance to see whether they were 6s or 8s), and the third one I saw was a white XR8 parked at the airport.

They're out there...

Base model Smoke FG_X criusing along Galway Ave this morning. I was on my pushy so only got a brief geeze at it but they look REAL good from the rear . Backs up what I saw a few months ago out north of Adelaide. Of topic I know but after a 3000km road trip to the bottom of Tassie and back over Xmas, Territories are by far the most used SUV's in Southern Oz. Just out of interest, as a former Terror owner I started counting them coming the other way. We saw hundreds of them. Bloody good product.IMHO.

Not so good from the front though. (personal opinion) and since the original post that started this I have done 300 kms in the last few days from North to South and up the freeway (Adelaide Hills) and I am still searching!!

Finally saw one. A G6E on the Esplanade, Semaphore, SA. Looks better with that front end than the base or XR range.

I saw a new Ford XR6 today at the local shops in Broken Hill just up the road from the local ford dealer

so I am not sure if it was a new one driven by staff or one that has been sold it was registered with normal plates

The thing that realized it was a new one as it was parked front in so i could not see the no but this one had the external radio antenna on the roof

it had that orange out back color

Finally saw my first FG X in the flesh in Melbourne as I was coming back from Melton and driving through the city, although it was coming down the opposite lane and I didn't get to see much of it. But I do love it from the front, it has a really menacing/aggressive look to it, the rear on the other hand that still has to grow on me. Although I never really was a fan of the rear since the FG models were released.

They are producing and selling so few of them compared to previous new Falcon's when they came out, that they aren't going to be the prominent model on the road like yesteryear.

I wish. I actually have spent more time buying a tv then my last car but not that quick. On the weekend I was told that a FG X G6ET in Emporer looks great with all the brightwork.

Saw my first road-registered-for-a-consumer-not-a-dealer one today, white XR6. It, uh, didn't leave me wanting more, let's say? The DRLs looked great, buuuuut...

I think Emporer is definitely the go for the G6ET after seeing that picture, damn it looks good and compliments the car.
