My brother travels for work yet we don't worry about him while he's away or need to know what he's doing each day. I prefer catching up with him face to face and hearing about where he's been and seeing the pics.
Facebook seems more about bragging rights and how many 'friends' you have. We go on holidays to get away from home and computers. Yeah by all means take photos but also soak up the atmosphere at the moment and chat with fellow travellers and locals. Your friends won't mind not receiving updates on your wellbeing because as they say...no news is good news
Well bugger me, I never thought that this day would ever come.

I actually agree with what you’ve written here.

I’ll answer this.

Mik, back in the olden days when you and I would get a good clip over the ear by all and sundry, they called that discipline.

If you were really bad, the local coppers would explain the process involved in getting a confes, sorry, an explanation for what transpired out of you. This is where the old Telecom Yellow Pages would make an appearance in the “interview” room. The Telecom yellow pages had many uses and one of the most popular was to protect your face from anything that could be flying your way at high velocity, such as fists, elbows, chairs etc.

So in actual fact, this was the very first “Facebook”.

That’s my understanding of it.
