It was a bargain and soooo much better than the first one! Didnt think I would love a car as much as i loved that first corty! But as much as i love the corty i have now, nothing can replace the good times I had in my first one!
Ok Just bought my 3rd car!
An 88' Laser. Filling out the transfer form came across the question "how many cylinders?" had to write 4...ouch!
Keeping the corty I think... Probably give it a good clean up and go over it with a fine tooth comb!

Not bad though, my third car within a year of having my license hehehehe

My list:
1971 Triumph 2000 auto sedan. Yes I have actually owned a sedan. Scrapped as body was twisted.
1983 Holden VH Commodore SL wagon. Damm thing guzzled more fuel then a work mates 351/4 speed XC! Traded with 300,000 km on untouched 202/trimatic. Found it a couple of years later and the new owner had put on another 200,000km before the engine was rebuilt!
1997 Mazda 121 Metro 1.3. Probably the hardest worked 121 in Australia! At 1 point went to a rally or Rover Moot every weekend for 3 months. Rolled it 6 times. And walked away unhurt.
1982 Mazda 323 wagon. Bought with the money left from the insurance payout. Pizza bomb. Blew first engine and the second one lasted 2 weeks. At the end it would get 5L/100km of water. Ended up splitting the block.
19?? Mazda 1300 wagon. Parts car for the 323. Both got taken away for scrap
1991 Subaru Leone GL auto 4wd wagon. Slug. Only car I ever bogged, at a spectactor point at a rally. Missus hated it, more so after it snapped sideways in the wet in 4wd! Traded it with 5 days rego needing 4 tyres, CV joints and HVAC fan.
1995 VS Acclaim wagon. Replaced the Subie for use as the family car. Worse car I have ever owned. Blew headgaskets and the auto was just about dead. Not to mention all the little problems VS Commodores have. Traded.
2003 Verada Ei Wagon. Fluke buy. We needed out of the VS fast and found this as the wife needs power pedals to feel comfortable in a BA. Both of us have vowed not to buy another late model Holden. And she's a Holden fan!
1991 Daihatsu Charade CX. Cheap beater. Probably sell it next year.
1985 VK Calais EFI. Wifes car actually. Future resto project.

It's amazing how many cars people have owned. I personally hate the process of purchasing cars. It's enough to make me settle for a car for a number of years.

I had the TX5 for nearly 5 years. I plan on keeping this one for a while but maybe not as long. I am young but my brother is younger and has had many cars.

But then again he doesn't exactly follow the legal process of acquiring his cars so it really isn't a pain for him. Also he has lost 13pts plus been done for drink driving. The funny thing is he trys to give me driving tips!

First car 1985 ZL Fairlane Lowered, 12 slots, extractors, zorst, Full smicko

Then i had a EB xr6 5 speed, chromies, system, extractors, zorst, loved this car, sold to a mate he crashed it twice, another mate bought it and he wrote it off, im sad bout it. Good old XTC 40L.

Then i had a TE50 series 1 i dont have pics on my comp which sucks sold coz i couldnt afford it....

So i bought the Sprint which MotherNature now owns

Now i ride a bike and dont own a car this is my Gix

my dad had a Triumph 2000 & 2500 TC - it was before my time, but he says the 2000 was a fantastic car, the 2500 had issues, i believe it was after Leyland bought Triumph ? Either way they were both great little cars. I nearly picked up a stag for free !! that fell through though.

fantz I'm curious as to why you went from two 2005 model cars to a 91 model car. Or is there more to it than meets the eye :hihi:
